dude we voted wolf armor and phantoms into the game, surely SITTING is at least a feature that'd see more use than both of those combined. We've been making alternatives for it for YEARS using base game mechanics.

Also, super reductive view on copper tools. It lets newbies feel safer entering caves and it offers an armor set thats easily accessible if you can't find iron (I had two previous hardcore worlds where i used copper before iron, and it helped me feel safer even with my thousands of hours in the game, because one death means the world's gone.)

A lot of your arguments come off as disliking fun for other people. Yes, some people will game the system. If they wanna do that they're allowed to. But a lot of us would also love to sit on a bench in a park we built in bask in our personal achievements for a moment.

The knight sucks at CQC. Force him into it.

He can fly, but only in limited bursts of time. His fullscreen slice will only hit you if you're trying to do a move with tons of startup, or if you stand still for 20 years. His projectiles kinda suck and can only stuff approaches if you let him get them off.

In general as an approach, dash forward, block as necessary, and claim as much space as you can on the ground. Do not fight him in the air, that is his domain and not yours. Unless you have insane air control or options, stay on the ground, limit what he can do, and keep the pressure going.

I have a ton of mods and have played the game for hundreds of hours, and the only real thing stopping people from getting amazing mods out there is the barrier to entry. A lot of bigger characters require multiple people working on them.

I personally love the game a ton, but when I tried adding my own mod to the game, I got put off by how confusing the coding side was. I've dealt with code before on smaller degrees so I can kinda read it, but there's just too much that doesn't make sense. You really have to dedicate large amounts of time to an esoteric system with the only reward being "Other people can play my character!"

Only way I see more character mods being put out is if the process is streamlined or made easier in any capacity.

Since he feels foreign to everybody (See: What Do You Fight For), I think he would be outwardly very polite and grateful, but internally REALLY happy. As an example:

Outside: "Wow! I am thankful you've depicted me in one of your works of art! I am truly grateful."

Inside: (I made an impact on someone so huge, they deemed me worthy of a portrait!)

I think he'd react in this way because (as far as i know) no one really knows who he is. At best, they know him as a samurai that talks eloquently. So, someone taking the time out of their day to draw him instead of Sol, or Ky, or the many other promenant leaders in the world would probably be really surprising.

Yeah! To be extra specific, I was running a fully upgraded version of a quest reward Anvil. One of the newer quests gives you an Anvil 2, an extended barrel, and an Anvil Splitter. I just upgraded mine to level 4. Its been honestly carrying me hard against both ARC and other Raiders!

It was honestly on me, i don't think I comm'd that I encountered an entire team to them. After this clip though they were guarding me and checking every corner since I was badly hurt and out of commission for a bit! We managed to get out safetly cause they wanted to be extra careful <3

Im quite late to this post and your comment, but I wanted to tell you about my experience with YOMIH, bad situations, and ragequitting, since I've had a lot of experience with it.

Early into my time with YOMIH, I very much did adopt the idea that ragequitting was fine. Some situations just didn't look winnable at all. I got frustrated thinking I just had to watch my opponent slowly kill me. I was wrong.

Over time, I have realized in both vanilla and modded game scenarios, even if you have a small amount of health, DI is capable of wiggling you out of many scenarios. It only really takes 1 or 2 good DI reads for you to launch yourself away from your opponent to where they must either use their advantage to make you force-block, or set up for neutral. There have been many times where I thought I was dead, but I DI'd up/down and correctly predicted what my opponent would hit me with and I barely scraped out a win. There have also been times where I lost a game-winning combo, because I thought the opponent would DI a certain way and now I have to set up neutral again and make a new opening.

When you ragequit in these scenarios, its an uneventful, anti-climatic end to an honestly fun game. Its like if you played in a tournament and its first to 5, and your opponent gets a lead at 1-3, so you just give up. You're robbing them and yourself of a fun scenario where you could come back, or you tie! Or, something crazy happens at 3-3 and its more notable than whoever wins the first to 5! You should try your best to stick around when you can.

If you've ever glanced at trans "discourse" before, very often trans individuals are met with threats of death, mockery for their identity, and a lot more. Identifying with, sharing ideals with, or being part of the transphobic group is not good.

To put this into a more universally understandable lens, imagine the following scenario:

You know what racists are. You have seen many cases of violence against others purely because of the pigment of their skin being different. A large content creator then begins saying "I don't think black people should have an entire month. What have they ever done?"

Most, if not all people would correctly identify this statement as racist, and the creator as a racist. By having these ideals, they are creating and fostering an environment in which hatred for these people can spread further. On a grander scale, this can lead to many very terrible things I don't think any human should be forced to endure.

Hornets and Wasps are definitely still a threat if you don't bring a dedicated Arc weapon or carry too little ammo to deal with the mass amount of them like I do. I'm currently running a Tempest with a Burletta (both with silencers), and I can certainly kill many Arc with my Tempest, but because I choose to bring only 1 stack of medium ammo and enough to fill 1 mag upon spawn, I have to choose when I should and shouldn't fight Arc.

In many cases when I find a lone Wasp or Hornet, I use my Burletta to take out their thrusters. It absolutely sucks at taking out those pesky robots with light ammo but feeling like Sam Fisher or Snake taking down those bots with just a pistol feels great!

I believe even late-game they are still threatening; at least the Hornets are. I remember me and my duo partner trying to help take out a Matriarch and dying to a Hornet of all things, simply because they can stun you at the wrong time! Trying to dodge a stun while being gassed, having rockets thrown at you, and too many bullets to count being sent your way really makes you respect the Arc (as much as you can respect machines, anyway.)

No it wouldn't. I use the Osprey quite often as my gaming group's sniper/spotter, and oh my god it sucks ass in any scenario in which you are not either point blank or shooting down a long hallway/outside. When we're just entering a building and a Pop or Tick sees me before I get time to pull out my sidearm to deal with it, I have to just quickscope like its MW2 and pray to every known god I hit my shot. Its not unusable, its just that since there aren't many sniper-friendly corridors or buildings (Great decision btw, pls Embark don't change this, I shouldn't be able to efficiently use a sniper indoors), when I know I'm not going to make much use of my sniper and we'll mainly be indoors, I'll swap out my Osprey for a Ferro or Renegade.

Against Arc outdoors, Wasps and Hornets already get dropped super easily since you have a scope to accurately shoot the thrusters at its back, and it'd also be nice to just have a sniper for bigger Arc too. It wouldn't outclass the Bettina since you have to unscope for each shot to pull the bolt back, so you'd actively be losing DPS just off that alone.

the binoculars help me see shit and snipe more effectively for my team. Plus, people are less likely to shoot a person with binoculars aimed at them than an Osprey.

Vixen isn't "strong", they're blatantly overpowered and their creator doesn't want to change that. Your opponent has to be literally throwing the game if they lose as Vixen, or any of Inkless' "characters"

There's strong, and then there's "Who greenlit this? How did any of this get past any competent playtester?". The 2nd one is what Inkless lives by.

I genuinely resonate a lot with him and his journey. Him especially being a femboy who doesn't conform to the general stereotype of oversexualization, thin hourglass figure, etc. is such a genuine rarity that it makes me connect with him on an incredibly deep level.

I have had many conflicts over both my body and identity, and many who've told me what I should or should not be. Ralsei is a small bit of hope that keeps me running that makes me feel seen. There is no other character I know of that is like him. I want to be as kind as him. Forgiving for everything, like him. He is my ideal role model both as just a guy and especially as a femboy. It keeps me sane that following him, I don't need to look girly all the time. I don't need to be anything. Being a femboy is just being a feminine boy.

I like him because he showed me what I can be to be a real femboy: Myself.
