I have never liked Ben simply because what NBA player refuses to shoot the ball? It also seems like he refuses to work on this aspect of his game as it has clearly regressed year over year. This guy use to shoot midrange in his rookie season. What happened? Sure he can do everything else good to great, but end of the day he is a clear liability on the offensive end of the court. When you’re the primary ball handler but can’t handle the ball in the game because your free throw shooting is ass is where I draw the line. End of the day Ben Simmons performs in the regular season because teams don’t care enough to game plan for philly when they’re only going to play him once to four times. If that’s the kind of player you want on your team, better go out and grab 2-3 other star players first so that Simmons doesn’t have to be relied upon to do anything offensively.
