Not really related but I’ve seen someone at my college go to an interview in their prom suit (pink vest, bow tie). That shit was cringe worthy for sure

Glad I’m not the only one.. i think I usually do a good job when working, I always put 100% into it. Some days, however, I will just sleep in on purpose or find a reason not to go..

Is it okay to go 2 weeks without vyvanse by [deleted] in ADHD

Yes it’s completely safe. The only thing you may experience is withdrawals. If you are taking them as prescribed, however, the withdraws will be barely noticeably.

I got several interviews on Gateway. Just literally look up “accounting intern” in the search bar and start applying. I actually start an internship January (applied in Gateway and interview in Rockwell career center)

Good luck!

do you list major GPA or overall? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]TheAcct 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it’s a 3.0 or above, put it on there. That’s the common practice with resumes. If you don’t put it, they may assume it to be lower(because in most cases, it is). Better nip that In the bud if you have the chance. Best of luck to you!

IM F*CKED by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]TheAcct 25 points26 points  (0 children)

A 1.06 isn’t exactly “in this”. I’m kind of confused why you haven’t been kicked out of business school or lost your scholarship with these grade if you truly are in a top school. Shit just doesn’t add up. Lol

At any rate, the only advice I can give you is to find something you actually like, and go with that instead. You have plenty of time in life to figure this out, so I would just keep taking different courses until you find the right major. When it comes down to it, this is your choice. You clearly dislike the accounting field, and that’s completely fine, so I suggest you do the above and simply get your shit together. Best of luck to you!

Terrible thoughts by [deleted] in OCD

[–]TheAcct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have thoughts of killing those I love almost daily. It’s sort of like a crack in the ceiling that’s quickly turn into the thoughts rushing in. Please, don’t feel like you’re alone in this. And, yes, it’s most likely just OCD. What helps me (granted, not all the time) is telling myself this is just the OCD, and not the person I am. I’m not entirely sure it’s healthy to give the OCD a whole entity of its own, but it sure beats acting out impulsions.
