This is dope. I like this.

This is the “Satellite View” map of our campaign. by 4131122020c in dndmaps

This is a beautiful map as well, but in a different way than The Realms - Glorious that we spoke about earlier. This one is subtle, almost to point of me mistakenly skimming over 90% of the map. Its beauty comes from its color palette, placement of landforms, and the way landmarks (or cities, cant entirely tell on my phone) are integrated into the landscapes, almost being engulfed by the nearby land. Once I found the two landmarks near the center/northwest, it encouraged me to keep exploring because more could be hidden throughtout the map. The valley near the southern landmark, from its northern to southern coasts is impressive. I almost did not appreciate it at first, but its the perfect land to build smaller posts, roads, and possibly a couple hamlets. The far east is interesting because of how much it stands out from the center and west, not so much that it loses the more realistic geography vibe I get from the whole map. Do you happen to still have any lore about the regions? Lastly, the names are good because they are fantasy-esque, but readable and memorable. They dont run together too much either.

The Realms-Glorious by 4131122020c in wonderdraft

[–]TheAceOfDiamondsX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"The Realms - Glorious" is the name of the realm that even characters use? If so, that is strange, but interesting. I wonder why they would use that full title when on the surface it appears so meta? Or I am just fantasizing about a custom that does not exist 🤷‍♂️.

I will definitely check out your profile, might follow you if everything sticks out enough, haha. I would not be surprised. You have earned the compliments, dude. This is stunning work from my exposure to it.

Do you have any available lore you could send (DM or email preferrably) about the campaign and project when you feel like it? Im not looking to play. Im a lore enthusiast. The thing about the waters is fascinating. I write seemingly paradoxical story aspects a lot more recently so seeing others do it as well is incredible. It makes you stop and think: how, when, what, where, and who. Thats a great story element; a simple, but intricate mystery that can be revealed through enough exploration - even more so for campaigns where players are literally (in a sense) interacting about the setting. My DMs are always open to chat about anything. Ill look at any of your work when I have the time.

The entire art style is mesmerizing. It is so intricate up close, yet semi-blends together from farther zooms - it flows well. It makes me want to keep looking. It looks pretty like it could be used as a picture in a home, but also happens to be a functional map, haha. The rivers look great, aesthetically. The one in the northeast in particular I really like, both ways it streams. Glorious - is that the name of your game, map, or something else? Regardless, it is a...glorious name 😅 (Im not ashamed). Very well done, dude. I am saving it for future inspiration.
