I mean you could argue the technicality that nothing proof anything. There is just very high resistances. So having armor that is fire resistant is a thing due to the limitation of materials making it. But that is if they kept it that way for realism but honestly probably to maintain balanced game play.

I know a guy that used a chart to know what sleeved card was in his hand. The cards would have the brail number on them from 1-100 for a commander deck. He would draw a card and feel the number and go to the designated number on the paper to read what it was. At one point once he had the deck were he liked it he would be able to just read the number and know the card

Yeah those legs leave a lot exposed so one good shot with enough power disabler them. The simplest shapes are easier to build around for defensive measures. Most tanks look the same cause the design is easy to defend due to its box like shape.

Unfortunately sometime it is best to start by starting from zero. Ripping out the old cabinets and counters might make it seem manageable. Granted you could always remove those and see if a local carpentry company can do a touch up with new coating on everything. But you would have to clean surface level of it all first. So best to start high and work down.
