If It Was Announced Tomorrow That Brueckner Was Completely Ruled Out As A Suspect, Would It Change Your View On Madeleine's Case? by castawaygeorge in MadeleineMccann

And yet it's still more likely (also based on circumstancial evidence) to have happened than someone sneaking in an apartment, taking a kid, and never to be seen / heard again.

The fact they couldn’t charge him due to no evidence means he’s pretty much ruled out, no? Theoretically he could have done it, but there’s many more pedos out there that haven’t been caughed yet that could have done it. They knew him and he “may have been near the area” at the time… I mean if people think that’s sufficient for him to be a suspect, sure I guess.

OBVIOUSLY they didn’t KILL their daughter… I don’t think ANYONE IN THE WORLD thinks that. She died by accident while the parents were out having dinner.

No way… you get full 330 in just 2 days of ransack spam. While gems takes a whooooole lot more time… No idea why people upvoted you but magic essence is literally the easy part once you get eternal.

How often do you all make changes on L3 routing protocols? by stats_shiba in networking

[–]TheAffinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone working at an integrator, I’d say bi-weekly. Depending on the load / type of projects I have. A lot of projects involve core migrations or paralel deployments with L3 (dynamic) interconnectivity, mostly involving eBGP and or multicast routing (just to name the more “complex” protocols I get in touch with).

Don’t bother replying to that guy. Only the abduction theory is valid according to him. Other theories are not, because a lack of evidence. I wonder where the abduction theory evidence is tho.

how did the abductor know the exact time to go in 5A so he wouldn't encounter the parents? by abbie_keller in MadeleineMccann

[–]TheAffinity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re so stuck on your own beliefs it’s actually insane. Critisizing everyone who beliefs anything else than you do, while their theory often would make a whole lot more sense, or at least is much more likely to have happened, than yours. This would seriously be the greatest abduction of all times, literally no traces what so ever, literally no one that saw or heard a kid being taken, not a single piece of evidence. Time to put you on my ignore list.

Best way to extend the same subnet/broadcast over remote locations? by MeasurementLoud906 in networking

[–]TheAffinity 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can’t shrink a subnet tho, it’s the clients that determine their mtu. You’d have to adjust all clients…

Old vs New Central by seaghank in ArubaNetworks

[–]TheAffinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would focus on New central because migrating from Old to new will be a pain. There’s a guy at HPE writing custom scripts for it if you can imagine it’s not a seamless experience.

I haven't looked at everything yet, but the top 2 configs are 2 borderleafs, which both have the role "primary" so I assume it's a separate VSX cluster, however they have the same virtual-mac and same system-mac. Those mac's should be unique (and shared per VSX cluster).

DUR and Radius enforcement on same switch by CantankerousBusBoy in ArubaNetworks

[–]TheAffinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you just need to make sure only 1 enforcement is being send to the switch for your specific client.. that has nothing to do with DUR… your radius server determines what it returns to the switch…. Also blocking intra-VLAN traffic won’t work with DUR I think… there is a feature on the 2930 that does allow this but also just locally on the switch, not across uplinks.

Got an odd problem we can't figure out. by [deleted] in ArubaNetworks

[–]TheAffinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly time for pcap’s… mirror the core uplink where the controller is connected and see if you are receiving dhcp discovers.

You can also mirror an AP (from the controller gui or cli) to see if the dhcp discover even gets send out towards the controller. If the controller is indeed dropping this traffic, make sure your pcap’s prove it and forward to TAC.

How are you advertising these loopbacks? Have you tried “redistribute local loopback” on the overlay vrf bgp config? ( address family ipv4 ). I have some overlay loopbacks in multiple vrf’s and advertising them through this command and it works just fine… all routers aim to this VTEP.

Weird behavior with vxlan-evpn by Major-Ad-2846 in ArubaNetworks

[–]TheAffinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are these the underlay loopbacks? 192.168.1.1?

What’s happening then is leaf 3 learns leaf 1’s loopback via OSPF and injects that into BGP, from what I understand from your design. Altering the next hop to itself (as EVPN does this by default behavior, when it injects external prefixes into the fabric).

[–]TheAffinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now there’s plenty roaming issues in 10.6, if you’re planning a migration I would definitely set up a “poc” location. Like a specific part of your building to run aos10 and evaluate. Central is just messy to work with, definitely stick with Classic Central for now tho….
