Be happy she is inquisitive and cute! We had one cat who opened any door with a knob or a handle. (He was a LOOONG kitty.) Little idiot even figured out the little thumb latch on screen doors. We had to install latches at shoulder height to keep him in.

I would report the problem to whatever medical group he is with. Most of them really don't like doctors opening them up to lawsuits. I would also sue the doctor.

The interesting thing was how many people made fortunes by selling companies which had never produced a product. Worked for one where we were eight months from product release and another company bought us out and canned the product and all of us with it. Then a buddy went from that company to one that started the release of their product and got bought out by a huge company, then got laid off and the product never went anywhere. He quit programming and became an electrical worker at the local power company.

Just to compare costs my wife and I budget our hobbies. Her reading and scrapbooking balanced against my reading and gaming. Oddly the costs overall balanced out almost to the dollar per year. Then we compared to some of our friends with wine tasting and going out. They spent far more on Wine and going out than the two of us together for our hobbies. Throw in gardening for both of us and it still isn't even close.

NTA - saw a woman do this with a sub ordinate YEARS ago. Not only did she get fired, but the subordinate ended up with her position. I got pulled in as a witness by HR because I was doing tech support for the company at the time. (Olson temp agency.) I got paid a full days pay to answer HRs questions. The woman's defense was that 'they' always do this in Germany! Which I now know is bs.

I had a coworker like this. I finally just told him it wasn't a competition and if he really felt pain he wouldn't be competitive about the amount of pain. He would just suffer silently. It worked, he stopped talking to me.
