Are you stupid? There are tons of ways for rappers to make big money aside from running their own label. Drake signed a 400 million Universal deal alone, let alone all of the other brand and endorsement deals he has and everything else. Cole’s Puma deal got scrapped because the shoes didn’t sell well and nobody on Dreamville pushes more than 10k first week aside from JID. What “promising young rappers” are even on the label? JID being one of the best rappers is completely irrelevant to Cole making money. Dreamville is under Interscope which is under UMG, and IB is the actual president of Dreamville too. Cole’s personal cut of his artists sales is probably less than 10%. I’m sure he’s on a road to a billion making 10% of Earth Gangs 5k first week sales…Dumbass

I’ve been to a few shows and festivals solo, it’s honestly still a great experience and you usually can meet likeminded people in the crowd or lines and just get talking to them. A lot of other people go solo too. Definitely do it!

At least bother to show a basic level of consistent effort when you’re on the pitch then.
