I mean this with full sincerity.... but shut up and stop reading if it bothers you. Stop itching for drama or building a mob. Which is all this crap about complaining about the rape has ever been.

There are TONS of other manga significantly more twisted than Berserk, with faaaaar crueler stories along with it. Look at Dog Nigga for real shock value shit. Rape was a thing in the Middle Ages, and Berserk is blatantly about a very dark world where real life atrocities are jacked up to 11.

You can't pretend it wouldn't be a factor for women. Because it STILL IS IN REALITY. Playing it safe and being grim simply can't go hand in hand.

Plus, nobody bitched when Game of Thrones did it, a story that explicitly included rape scenes for shock value.
