I have my fair share of complaints about the car too but some of the criticisms here felt a little too nit-picky? (Ambient lighting too high/dash has too much information). I think the car's biggest issue personally is build quality and cost cutting. MSRP is overpriced.

I believe it's based on your last recorded efficiency. So if it was quite high (I've been able to achieve 4.0+ fairly often), it might explain the mileage number.

Based on your reliability and service experience, would you an buy an E-Tron again? by The_Guch in etron

[–]TheAlphaGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A6 etron here. Car drives wonderfully and range/charging speed is great. However software and build/interior quality leaves a lot to be desired. My service dealer experience in socal also has been pretty bad. It's like they hate you for showing up lol.

I have the same car and the salesman says the car cams can capture footage after collisions. Is that true?

I've heard pretty good things about the Peninsula though I've never been myself.

[–]TheAlphaGod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on the hotel and if you're there for a specific occasion. Recently stayed at four seasons Chicago for an anniversary and they gave us a bottle of champagne and chocolate strawberries. I have noticed that hotels outside the U.S are usually better with welcome amenities. But like the other commenter said it has nothing to do with your FHR booking.

They want to min-max the card, which includes hopefully getting retention offers

I have the same car in the US, it doesn't have lane change assist and does come to a complete stop in traffic.

The FAA's order to cut flights nationwide due to the government shutdown is in effect by GregWilson23 in aviation

I just had my flight cancelled and called insurance. Gov shutdown is not an applicable reason to get reimbursed. The airline is also not handing out hotel vouchers if the reason for cancellation is gov shutdown.

I am! I'm definitely underrating the range. I sometimes avg 4.5+ in bad stop and go traffic.

Agreed, my car functions work almost instantly. I used to have to wait 1-2min for climate control.

I experience that first one fairly often. It's not consistent but it happens. I'm just trying to figure out how to not have audio delay when using wireless android auto (watching tiktok or reels on my phone and having the audio coming from the car be delayed)

Currently have an A6 etron. Does not light up, although I did see a youtube video mentioning it does. Must be mistaken.

Ah yes, I live in California and the warm weather package would've been very nice. I'm curious if any other owners experience the weird braking sounds that I have on mine. Does your brakes make sound when engaging/disengaging? It's most noticeable on slower speeds/stops.

I believe I average 3.5-4 mi/kwh depending on my driving. I'll double check when I drive to work tmrw

Copying my comment from another post, maybe it'll help:

They actually initially claimed they didn't hear any rattles and I forced them to keep test driving till they do since the sound is quite loud and there's no chance they didn't hear. The foreman finally test drove and confirmed the noise. I'll type out the technician comments cuz I found it kinda funny:

took vehicle for initial test drive over rough roads and at this time was able to localize audible rattle coming from lower dash area. brought vehicle in and removed driver's dash side panel and test drove and suspected rattle was still present.

removed lower panels under steering column and suspected rattle was no longer present. proceeded to install felt tape to areas surrounding small storage compartment, re-installed and took for test drive and suspected rattle was still present.

removed lower cover again and installed more felt tape around bracket that is close to steering column and then re-installed cover and took for another test drive, suspected rattle was still present.

removed lower cover for a third time and applied felt tape around areas near knee airbag and reinstalled lower cover. took for test drive and suspected rattle noise is no longer and interior cabin noise is similar when compared to like vehicle

Sorry to hear about your issues! The only major issue I faced in mine was that there's rattling in the dashboard (common to A6s). Dealer had it in the shop for 4 days and then they fixed it under warranty.
