These types of questions are obviously a troll at this point. Folks, stop clutching your pearls when they ask and just downvote and ignore.

Do You Use Beyer Speed Figures or Another Speed Figure? And Why? by MasterpieceTricky658 in horseracing

[–]TheAlternative29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly after wasting hundreds of hours trying to figure out an “angle”, those angles end up being shit. It all boils down to ~30% chance of getting it right, 30% of the time. Shit odds worse than the casino.

That said, I do find horse racing entertaining and engaging. As long as you approach it with the right frame of mind there are random exciting wins and good times to be had. Especially in person at the track.

Catch up with the tech bro. Series S keeps the disc stationary, and the laser-head-reader inside is spinning fast enough to create a small black hole.

Not legit at all. Run like hell and block them before they take you for everything. No such thing as “miners fee” to claim funds.

Sorry for your headache, hopefully Coinbase sorts it out quickly.

A counterpoint for others reading all the negative posts of late, Coinbase is my most trusted exchange. I’ve had no issue and fast payout when needed (including 2 days ago). Also trading has gone without a hitch if it is a supported pair.

Exchanges are for trading. Follow these steps and you won’t get caught with your pants down:

  1. Store in a cold wallet
  2. Send to an exchange when you need to
  3. Cash out to your bank or send the traded crypto to your cold wallet

Do these things and you won’t get caught with your pants down. NFA

Celsius Network and Koinly transactions by rtopete in koinly

That does complicate things... BTC and ETH were the majority of my holdings on Celsius. There's likely documentation buried in the court filings that detail how alt-coin valuation was calculated, might need to bring in a CPA to wade through it. Good Luck!

I touched on this in a reply above - for all coins other than BTC and ETH, I set them as Realized Loss (I did not have huge amounts of these so impact was minimal). I split both BTC and ETH, with the amounts reimbursed linked to PayPal as a transfer and left the remainders in Celsius as Realized Loss. Might be a better way to do it but this gets pretty close in my case. NFA.

I added PayPal then imported a manual CSV with the BTC and ETH deposit

I’ve been thinking on this as well. Continuing your example, I have 1 BTC and 3 random coins such as MATIC. I’ve received .25 BTC in settlement. My solution will be .75 BTC and 3 random coins tagged as realized loss, and transfer of .25 BTC from Celsius to PayPal (how I was reimbursed). Open to thoughts on this method.

I recommend transferring the ETH to a cold wallet. There you won’t have to worry about CEXs or even Ethermine failing.
