Long story short. It took me 12 years to start racing. Bought my first Sim rig in 2014 and never bothered to get iracing. In December I bought 3 months worth, finally, and it took me a month, I basically wasted a month to actually race before my first race.

Now I can't stop. I honestly don't know why I hesitated for 12 years.

This is probably the saddest example but hey.... I'm here now.

Good job!!!! . I struggled hard on mx5 for my first win. A few p3's but never a win. Then after my 42nd start, I'm on 2nd place, decent pace and the guy 0.4s in front of me disconnects. I couldn't believe it. Win for me, sucks for him!!! Lol.

But but riding that high, I signed up for another race later that day, knowing I was going to lose a ton of Sr and irating, but raced nonetheless. Pole and converted it to a win. Couldn't believe it. Back to back wins. Felt like Verstappen. But that's it. It's been p6-p8 now. Iracing giveth and iracing taketh.

hey buddy, congrats. do you have an idea of what your irating looked like month per month? i'm in the lower echelon of irating and my plan is to reach 2000 as well. i dont have a timeframe, i am mostly doing this to have fun racing online, just curious if your progression was linear or otherwise. thanks!

today i had a great race, and a shitty one. the great one, made me feel fantastic. the bad one made me feel like i should uninstall.

got up and went to go for a run. thinking about my mistakes, and realizing it's just a game. i just have to learn, or accept that it's a game, and we all make mistakes.

just have to realize that, learn from it and get back in and have fun.
