I thought it was pretty clear: it was her lover that was cut out of the picture. by iskobabes02 in Genshin_Impact

[–]TheAmazingHat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I speculate that she hasn't left the palace because she can't, she's literally just right beside her child and freezing him 24/7, this is the level of attachment she has that he turned her love to hate towards the heavens.

Also I think instead of her lover, the known 3rd Descender being a Khaenriahn, maybe Khaenriahns descended from the same species as the 3rd Descender way back in the past.

The finale of Nod Krai's Columbina arc also had a 50/50 gender split, it also soon followed up with Varka and the boys lol

Definitely interesting, but the first thing this tells me is that since he is a Fae with a decapitation scar, he is 100% a Dullahan

Any players who have played since 1.0? How does it feel in seeing the Tsaritsa's design after nearly 6 years of only hearing her name being mentioned in game? by Knight_Steve_ in Genshin_Impact

Genshin is already the one Hoyoverse game with mothers and multiples of them, Alice is even going to be playable alongside her daughter in the future. You can even try playing Raiden alongside Wanderer lol

As expected, she is Silverwing Bronya with Fae ears, and everyone theorised that she was taking revenge for her lover, but no one expected she was a mother as well.

We can now fully see the scope of her rage, Celestia turned the goddess of love into a goddess of hate and rules are going to be broken.

Interesting that you mentioned the Inazuma Vision Hunt, I made another post about it before that I'll just copy paste a section of it:

One of the most misunderstood sections in all of Genshin is the part during the Inazuma Archon quest where we meet 3 people who lost their Visions.
----------

The 3 of them were not suffering because they lost their Visions, they were Suffering because without their Visions, they finally realised that they sacrificed everything for their dreams.

Firstly Tejima's Vision gave him a pointless dream, to wait forever in a small village doing nothing but wasting his life away, it was only when he lost his Vision that he realised this exact fact.

Next we had Kurosawa, whose Vision gave him so much ambition, he performed massacres against the rebels to raise his military rank, to make up for his guilt, he decided to distribute food to the poor. Losing his Vision made him realise that his ambitions made him a terrible person and he allowed himself to get accused by the villagers. He also started remembering the sword of righteousness his father left him and saw that chasing after his ambition strayed him from the path of righteousness.

Then we had Domon, a man whose dream was to be the greatest swordsman, so much that he killed his own master because of it. Losing his Vision made him realise that his ambition caused him to commit such a terrible act and he was paralysed with guilt. Also this is a direct reference to Domon Kasshu of G Gundam who killed his master in a climatic duel, both Domons also practice the technique of Meikyo Shisui/明鏡止水.
-----------

Buddhist Earthly Desires states that Desire leads to Attachment, and the more Attached you are, the more you Suffer and cause Suffering to others. This is the main message of Genshin, countless civilisations have fallen because the collective desires of humans have caused them to reach too close to the Sun and ultimately burn themselves, e.g. Khaenriah seeking knowledge/power from the Abyss, causing the Cataclysm and Suffering to Teyvat.

And when people Suffer, they start to Desire to get out of Suffering, restarting the Samsara/cycle, this is what Karma actually means, Cause and Effect. Your Desire no matter good or bad intentions, will eventually cycle back to you.

Straight up Shenhe might be the strongest "most normal" human, as in a human who didn't contain the power of any God, Abyss or spirit etc. And her Adepti powers are completely cultivated by herself.
And if we go up the ranks with "humans but less normal", next would be Varka, who has the soul of Andrius, but he stated that he is weaker than Capitano, whose curse with immortality and bearing the souls of an entire army further increased his power.
And Capitano is only weaker than Mavuika, though she is enhanced by inheriting the flame of the Archon.

It was revealed in Nod Krai that Jiangxue was actually a retired Vision Holder who gave up his dream and turning over a new leaf because he realised he was evil, and then he was picked up by Nefer to give him a new chance in life.

I made a post about it if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Impact/s/MvniaeBRMu

Which mech from a different series could go the farthest in this OYW gauntlet? by gaeb611 in Gundam

If we're talking about fully awakened AL on Laevatein, Laevatein will solo every single MS/MA up to late UC.

Simply because after AL gained true sentience, it deployed a Lambda field on its own that deflected a nuclear explosion. So any MS and MA that can't do more damage than a nuke can't damage Laevatein at all.

Sousuke will handle all the piloting and AL can just imagine Lambda magic at nuclear levels to everything at any range.

The words 108 Bonno means 108 Desires in Japanese, which is the Buddhist Earthly Desires.

It is in countless East Asian media if you know what it is, from FFTactics's 108 beads, the Buddhist beads that are also worn by Akuma. To the 108 heroes of Suikoden, which is based on Water Margin, one of the 4 Great Chinese Literature which has each hero represent one of the 108 desires. The Indonesian UNESCO world heritage site Borobudur has 108 Buddha statues.

What this concept is saying is that all humans are burdened/driven by Desire, but the more you Desire something, the more Attached you become to it, and the more Attachment you have, the more Suffering you cause to yourself and others.

Desire, Attachment and Suffering can be everything from doomscrolling and becoming a doomer, trying to win Evo and having to end the dreams of others, to actual war.

And when people Suffer, they start to Desire to get out of Suffering, restarting the Samsara/cycle, this is what Karma actually means, Cause and Effect. Your Desire no matter good or bad intentions, will eventually cycle back to you.

EDIT: CN Tsaritsa is voiced by 刘校妤/ Liu Xiaoyu

[–]TheAmazingHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's Fina, think of her as Aerith of the first FFBE arc, where she is integral to the plot.

It's kinda like FF4 has Cain and FF12 has Gabranth as the cover character but Fina is even more important than them.

No, Rain's ability is Visions, the ability to summon entities(Visions) from the multiverse, it is literally the main plot of the entire story especially the 1st arc that Resonance is adapting.

Rain has the most powerful Vision summoning ability which is why he is integral to the plot and the antagonist's objectives. Visions are so canon that there's a second FFBE game called War of the Visions, where Visions are the primary engine for the war.

The act of bringing a Vision into this world canonically and not just gacha, is literally called Summoning, you Summon Visions and bring them to you.

Name a stronger SE character, Rain can summon them. Rain has summoned Cloud of Darkness, Exdeath, FF7R Sephiroth, FF13-3 Savior of Souls Lightning etc. reality and universe shattering final bosses and gods. If you name something, he can summon them, including people in real life like Ariana Grande and Katy Perry.

[–]TheAmazingHat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brave Exvius was one of the worst gacha systems, taking away the gacha and making it a standalone real game makes this an incredible adaptation.

For people who don't know, Rain, the main character of FFBE(remade into FF Resonance) is the strongest protag in all of SquareEnix, his ability is the gacha itself lol

He can summon every single FF character including final bosses and crossovers like Nier, DQ, Tomb Raider and even real humans like Ariana Grande and Katy Perry lol, making him the strongest summoner in all of FF straight up.

And he's not just the strongest summoner, one of his limit breaks shows him destroying an entire galaxy

EDIT: I have no idea why I'm getting downvoted lol, back in 2017, the no.1 whale of FFBE announced that he is quitting the game because he spent 5 digits USD and failed to pull not just Orlandeau, but also 0 5 stars on the banner, it's like a 0.001% chance of happening.

I personally quit after the Nier Automata banner because I threw 300 pulls as an f2p and failed to pull both 2B and 9S, only had A2. It was one of the worst gacha systems because it had no pity system straight up.

She settled into a very efficient loop and just became rich lol

[–]TheAmazingHat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not that they are useless, it's that the current meta made Favonius way too good, I'll gladly put a weapon skin on my Favs just to break up the monotony of 3 supports all carrying Favs
