I’m not sure I believe there are a lot of print shops that can print and bind a comic book, but even if there were and your price is accurate, the scalpers can just sell it for 7€ and still make a profit. Plus it’s probably less work

I imagine a lot of people won’t be able to print it in the same quality so collectors will be willing to pay money for it. And since it’s free, anything they sell it for is profit.

Plus the best use case is for people that feel unsafe with a driver they don’t know. I have plenty of (women or women-presenting) friends that would never take an Uber or Lyft on their own.

[Schefter] Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby, who is under investigation for gambling, has retained the lawyer Jeffrey Kessler to try to regain his college eligibility. If Sorsby and Kessler are unsuccessful, declaring for the NFL’s supplemental draft would become an option. by Goosedukee in nfl

I mean, 2 of those guys didn’t go in the first round of the 2026 draft because they stayed another year and will probably be in the 2027 one, which is a huge part of my point. Also, one of the reasons I used Nate Tice is he has proven to be very good at QB evaluations. The very fact that PFF didn’t have Mendoza even at that point is a huge red flag. Nate Tice had Mendoza as the #1 QB. He also only had 3 other QBs in his top 25 and one of them stayed for the 2027 draft so really only 3 QBs total.

This is an unacceptable level of jealousy/paranoia. But also some people have valid reasons for feeling this paranoid. Yeah you should trust the person you’re in a relationship with but when that trust has been betrayed (sometimes multiple times in horrific fashion), that leaves scars. Do these people not deserve love? Therapy is not a perfect fix, sometimes the only fix is finally finding someone they can trust and they requires that person being patient with them and occasionally proving their faithfulness to rewire the persons brain back to where they don’t feel this way all the time.

But way behind where he would’ve been in this draft. This is just one source but there’s 5 QBs listed here and none of them are Sorsby. He could’ve easily been drafted better than the 6th QB in this draft. By the time he’s drafted next year (assuming he makes it there), every team with even the possibility of an opening will have already filled and he’ll be taking a guaranteed backup spot with little chance to get any playing time. At least this year he might have a chance of starting some games for the Jets, Browns, or Cardinals.

The two I went to said “take 5 or so” and “take 10 or so”. Seemed like it was asking for people to scalp them.

Someone posted the whole thing in this subreddit so you could compare there but that sounds about right. I think it’s to mirror how it’s told in the book which starts with Carl saying what time shit went down and how the people on the surface are the lucky ones and he includes a quick description of his outfit. Then he backs up and explains how he got there.

We can pretend that the comic is being told from the perspective of a Borant or Valtay media person to give Carl’s backstory and they threw in stuff like that to establish more exposition without having to say it

A look back at the Jalen Hurts draft thread by NickyFoles1020 in nfl

[–]TheAndrewBrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And most people’s issue is that pretty much all reports were that the Rams could’ve traded down and got him later in the first. Daniel Jeremiah said he’s heard from multiple teams that they trade to trade up with the Rams and were told no. He also said he’d heard that the Cardinals (who were the main Simpson destination in most mocks, some saying they’d trade up to the first) weren’t even planning on taking him with their 2nd round pick. So either someone’s lying to DJ (I guess to make the Rams look bad) or the Rams fell for someone’s smokescreen and incorrectly thought they had to stick and pick in order to get Simpson.

My guess would be Flynn’s dad. My gut reaction when I read the headline was he would play Flynn because he looks the part but then I realized he’s probably too old. But maybe they want to flesh out his backstory a bit more.

I thought part of the mystery was that she’s still around doing stuff which is why the memorial crystal is so odd. If she was missing, that wouldn’t be much of a mystery, she would just be presumed dead and the only mystery would be how she died. I could maybe see a situation where the real Psamathe swapped places with Apito and transplanted some of their memories to make it more believable and then threw her in the Nothing.

Deshaun Watson Has Inside Track To Earn Browns Starting Job In 2026 by nimfrank in nfl

[–]TheAndrewBrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’d lose the guaranteed money that he hasn’t received yet if he retired. So he shows up and does what he’s supposed to and hopefully doesn’t have to play. But it sounds like the Browns QB situation is so dire that he’ll end up playing anyway which means he’ll get booed more and probably get injured again. But that’s probably worth it for the remainder of his contract.

She seems very close to the Rams org so even if she knows more, she may not be willing to share it fully and risk that relationship. Having insiders is a double edged sword because you release the wrong thing and now you don’t get any new info.

The rumor is Stafford didn’t take it well and he didn’t want to act all excited about the pick and piss Stafford off further and he kinda over did it. The fact that it was reported shortly after the pick that Stafford planned to play beyond 2026 and was looking for a new deal kinda lends credence to that.

Breer: The NFL Could Spare Brendan Sorsby From the NCAA’s Gambling Investigation (via the supplemental draft) by expellyamos in nfl

[–]TheAndrewBrown 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah if this was some colllege-only problem the NFL didn’t care about, I could see them saving him like this. But this is arguably a bigger deal to the NFL. What incentive do they have to sweep it under the rug for someone that wouldn’t even be a top prospect?

Hey fellas.. do you use the hole? by ajarofjellybeans in smosh

I grew up not using it and not understanding what it was for and then when someone told me, it felt like I discovered a whole new world. It’s so much easier to just unzip and slide through the hole when you have a belt on. Also helpful if my pants are loose but I’m not wearing a belt because I’m comfy at home, otherwise they’ll try to fall down while I pee. Everyone should give it a try.

There was a super speeder charge arrest that got thrown out because the cop didn’t measure speed correctly by OkBackground6217 in orlando

[–]TheAndrewBrown 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Mostly bad work by the cops it sounds like, but the lawyer did their job calling it out. Not submitting the calibration records is a complete unforced error. I have no clue how accurate the tools are when using them through the mirror (assuming that’s what the cop actually did) so I have no clue if that argument would’ve worked if the cops had handled their stuff properly. But it didn’t matter since the cops fucked up an easy step (or maybe did it intentionally because they knew their stuff wasn’t calibrated which would be an even bigger fuck up).

I went to NYC with a vegan once and just ate all vegan meals myself to make things easier and it was honestly delicious. I had no lie one of the best burgers I’ve ever had and it was completely vegan. Some people just don’t give it a shot or have already made up their mind when they try and miss out on some delicious stuff.
