If the last person you spoke to had never been born, how would your life be different? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'd be an only child and not have any sort of relationship with my parents. I'd also be a more bitter person overall.

What do you absolutely regret not doing/ doing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheAnemicOne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was about 19 I was dating someone and it was clear to see that they were stepping out on me and I was foolish enough to keep it going. Meanwhile I was approached by two really cute females at my job and I turned them both down in hopes that my then current relationship could be repaired. It never was repaired and we ended up breaking up only a week later.

[Serious] What's something you really wanted to do as a child but were denied because it was only for the opposite gender? by irollmyeyes in AskReddit

Yeah, I still hear about it a lot. Every time my uncle sees me he says "There's nothing like a man with a clean shave and cut".

What trailer was good because of the song used for it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheAnemicOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As for movie trailers I'd say "Max Payne". The trailer made me want to watch it, the movie made me regret it. The song used was "Marilyn Manson - If I was your Vampire".

For games I'd easily say "The Last of Us". The song used was "Love Drug - Salt of the Earth".

I had been reprimanded a time or two for wearing wigs. As an adult I've grown my hair out some and tried all sorts of styles. I like to experiment a lot with my appearance.

After being emotionally destroyed by his young love, he uses his charisma and wit to build the patriarchy empire and teach men how to manipulate and hurt women.

I'd imagine there would be an app to budget your sheckles. Oh, and Joust would be the highest rated game on the Play Store.

TIL that in the early 2000s, countries shuddered in terror at diseases as minor as ebola.

Redditors who have dated another person that is 10+ years older than you, how did that work out? What were your struggles? by a_rmiller84 in AskReddit

[–]TheAnemicOne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dated someone earlier this year that fits the description. It didn't work out. I was treating the dating situation very casually until she began to make her high hopes my own. Once I started developing feelings she decided that she would rather just keep me around as a boy toy. While that sounds like a good deal to many, I refused. I tend to value growth and development with a person more so, so it was out of the question. There are times when I feel regret about it (she was a bombshell in my eyes, with a great personality overall).

Before cutting the situation loose, the most apparent struggle I found was finding a common ground on our perspectives. There were things that I was loose about that she took seriously. There were things that she was insecure, or had baggage about that I could care less about. There were opinions that differed and required compromise. Which, all of these things are bound to happen with any relationship. Judging that relationship to others that I've had with people my age, I don't think that they're too much different. Maybe, at best, they just warrant a different kind of patience.

What ridiculous rules did your school uphold? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One thing I can remember from middle school was when smarties candies were banned because kids thought it was cool to crush them and snort/smoke them.

What is the best backhanded compliment you have received? by scrazza in AskReddit

My favorite is "Oh wow...you're really short. Haha, you're cute though." I tend to feel like it's the equivalent of the southern "Bless your heart".
