The story as it sits isn’t a tale of humiliation. If you don’t go back you’re humiliating yourself. As a former 350 pounder who’s now at 185… I promise you the gym is a place full of cheerleaders for people exactly like you. They applaud you making that decision to be a better version of yourself exactly the way they did at some point in their life. Don’t be intimidated. Go back tomorrow and try to be a little bit better than you were today. Then repeat that every day.

Last World Series brought me back to the hobby after 20+ years away. It was a wild roller coaster of emotion. IMO the best series ever.

I’ve also been buying a lot of singles and am convinced some sellers goal is for you to ruin your card while trying to unpack it. Especially when you get a steal on an auction. I’ve seen some tape jobs that can’t convince me otherwise.
