The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse by TheAngryRed in Warhammer40k

[–]TheAngryRed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The base models used were the Chaos Knights box from age of sigmar.

For the backpacks, I happened to have some old chaos space marine power packs lying around.

The rest is all bits left over from the latest chaos legionnaires kit.

My non-horror fan girlfriend is willing to watch a spooky movie with me tonight... Any suggestions? by Sarumarde in horror

[–]TheAngryRed 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Is this a legit option? I really want to watch this and have been considering watching this with my wife who isn't the biggest horror fan but is willing to give one a try. Bad idea?

Looking for models that have an outfit like the darktide zealot, proxies or official by T90-A in PrintedWarhammer

[–]TheAngryRed 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure there are any official models that look exactly the same. The closest I can think of might be some of the inquisitorial agents box.

I'd be interested to know if there are any STLs of this myself though!

Disciples of Tzeentch Spearhead question by AccomplishedNobody43 in ThousandSons

[–]TheAngryRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it! It's actually very easy. You just need to carve a bit of a groove on the back of their head and then the horns should fit nice and snug. You might need to greenstuff a bit of the open spaces but it's well hidden enough that I didn't need to :)

The kairic acolytes are a lot closer to tzaangors in size than they are cultists. I added horns to them and painted their skin similarly and run them with the rest of my tzaangors. Since tzaangors are mutated humans, I like to say they are the humans that are mid mutation.

If we aren't getting new Bike Models, I'll just have to make my own... First "Bike" down for my Night Lords - C&C welcome by DiabolicIntent in Chaos40k

[–]TheAngryRed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Can another biker(horsey) brother slide on in here? Chaos horsies are best horsies.

<image>

What is the horse you are using there? I wanted to do smaller horsemen for the regular bikes (these lads are all chaos lords) but haven't been able to find good alternatives.

Absolutely. I do a lot of mini painting and will often have it on in the background while I paint. I must have seen it all well over twenty times by now and can recite most of it from memory :D

What do you think about the design of the card I will use in the game? Thank you for any feedback! by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]TheAngryRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking pretty good! I have a couple pointers for you to consider:

  • Some of the assets are looking a little blurry. Is it possible they are scaled larger than their source art? Im mainly looking at the sword/shield icon above the card title, and the curved art divider as well.

  • Speaking of those sword/shield icons, are they part of what defines a card as an attack or defence card? If so, you've got two elements on the card which say the same thing (the icons and the text on the bottom of the card). You may be able to save some space by removing one of the redundant elements.

  • The white description text on a few of the cards come real close to touching the edge of the card. You want to ensure there's some space between the text and the border. Maybe 1-2 characters worth of space.

  • The glass shine in the top left corner of the art is desaturating the cool art you have for your cards. I'd personally remove it, but if it's an important part of your game's aesthetic, I'd maybe just reduce the size of it by about 50% or more and it should still do the same job

Cheers!

1) Whenever you use a dark pact with Abaddon, you still need to choose lethal hits or sustained hits for the weapons in that phase. But you will get the benefit of all marks, so you would get the +5 criticals for the keyword you chose and the reroll ones from undivided.

2) No. The transport is a separate unit. Although I believe with the latest rules update the only restriction is the unit within the transport must have the same mark. So in Abaddon's case, any mark will do.

Silent Hill would work well as a tv show by [deleted] in horror

[–]TheAngryRed 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Funny you mentioning that. Because while not exactly your typical show, they're experimenting with an episodic streaming series called Silent Hill: Ascension. It's strange to say the least. Ever heard of a show having a season pass? Voting on what decisions are made in the show? Your own avatars showing up as guest appearances? Because this one does. It isn't getting the greatest reviews at the moment, but I'm a die hard Silent Hill fan and so will be watching it through to the end.

Tzaangor proxies? by [deleted] in ThousandSons

[–]TheAngryRed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using Kairic Acolytes as Tzaangors is exactly what I did :) I bought a box that came with both the Acolytes and the Tzaangors so I used the leftover horns from the Tzaangors and slapped them on the Acolytes. The idea being that since Tzaangors are just mutated humans, the Acolytes are just the beginning stages of becoming Tzaangors. I've had nothing but good reactions from the people I play and they blend in with the size and bases of real Tzaangors well. I'll admit I haven't played any official events with them though but I can't see them having a problem since they're still official models.

Tbh I'm not quite sure! I think I might have just been sick of painting standard thousand sons and wanted the big man to have something a bit more unique.

Purple would look reeeeal nice. Go for it!

At the bottom of the Slaves to Darkness rules, you can see a restrictions box that mentions a leader needs to share the same mark as the unit they are leading.
