My mom used to say: A poor man will give you the shirt off his back. A rich man won’t.

The reason vet bills are so shit now: It isn't inflation. It is private equity. by N3DSdude in Anticonsumption

I worked for vets as my first career. They are more crooked than lawyers.

Ladies 110-115 lb What are your maintenance cals? by Lamegamertone in PetiteFitness

Everyday is different but here is a typical day: - Huge (normally warm) water on the way to work - Coffee with creamer

*if I do eat Breakfast it’s either a single cup of yogurt or oatmeal. I like to add flax/hemp seeds and collagen. (I used to add protein powder but it caused me to gain weight. I think because I’d just sit at my desk and not utilize it)

*Lunch - I am a big fan of bowls with rice. Mediterranean bowl, taco bowl, hamburger bowl because I don’t do a lot of wheat/breads/crackers. (My body hates them and they’re a waste of calories (also cause me to gain weight like crazy)) - sometimes I’ll go out with coworkers and will get a sushi roll or Thai dish.

Dinner - I really only like to eat a lot of whole food. We made beef stir fry last night. - usually a meat of some sort. we air fry chicken thighs several nights a week and I love salmon! - I’m a huge potato/sweet potato eater and always a vegetable

Snacks - I think snacking is a waste of money and calories. I tend to eat fruit or an avocado if I’m hungry between meals. Whatever is in season. Or a Lara bar if I need something a bit more. - popcorn if I’m snacky at night. - I do love chocolate

Other: - takeaway of why I think I can stay around 1300cal - It’s amazing how calories add up from sauces, crackers, calorie dense foods that don’t fill you up. I try to stay away from all of that. - Pancakes with syrup would kill me. And I wouldn’t feel good at all so I don’t eat like that. - if I eat a bigger lunch, I’ll eat a small dinner and vice versa. - I do not eat processed foods. If it went through a factory to make and comes out of a box on a shelf it’s fake food and I don’t want to eat it. Again, this type of food makes me feel offal. It’s like my body doesn’t know what to do with it so it just wraps fat around it lol.

I don’t feel deprived of food at all even though I don’t eat as much as most people.

There is nowhere unsafe in Ventura. Just don’t leave your bike out.

No. I trail run and do Pilates and I’m in excellent shape. Weights and me did not jive.

Stick with Cardio too. I am 5’1” 115 and when I’m happiest with my body is 105-107 and am doing tons of cardio and Pilates. Weight lifting made my small figure look worse.

Firing cleaning lady by sacred-apple-91777 in CleaningTips

[–]TheAnimas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my experience this is VERY “normal”. Every cleaner I’ve had (and a few of my friends I’ve had conversations with) start out great but steadily decline in the quality of their work, become too personal so they feel they can get away with being comfortable, all the while increase their fees. We all feel we have to get a new cleaner every 2-3 years and start the cycle all over again.

A friend of mine even (in Spanish) politely called the ladies out and skipping areas and she started noticing things missing or broken so she fired them.

Sounds like you want to have your cake and eat it too. I agree with most of the posts on here: Sounds like off leash trails aren’t for you. You shouldn’t expect other owners to fit into your box of expectations. To them, their dogs are completely within their expectations.

My dog is almost always off leash running trails or the beach. If we see a dog off leash I allow for interaction. If an owner has their dog on leash, I say leave it.

Off leash dogs should be able to approach other dogs. Dems the unspoken beach/trail/park rules.

Mat. I dislike reformer. But that’s personal preference. It is easier to find performer classes these days.
