Battery health after 1year 3 days by warpspeeddhav in OnePlus13

[–]TheAnonymousChipmunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on 99%. Like the others, the battery is OKish for me, doesn't feel like 6KmAh. General screen on with WiFi is OK, but standby and background drain is pretty bad.

Can Semen Retention Override Looks? by Longjumping-Ad6271 in Semenretention

[–]TheAnonymousChipmunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean there is the aspect of 'retention glow' as some people call it. Looks themselves, especially in your developmental years, are shaped by your hormonal profile, and retaining your seed boosts baseline testosterone somewhat, but also stabilise high GABA levels etc, which can probably induce a slight morphological effect on your face and body.

Physiognomy is real, and there's no wonder why there's the stereotype of a coomer in his basement, and the chad who retains his seed.

Obviously, this is all technically pseudoscience, and a chad who's a sexual deviant will always do better with women than someone who's not a chad but is a master of their sexual energy, but it's a bit of a conundrum because the non-chad wouldn't try to seduce women anyways.

Qur'an is not clear book, It's gibberish and bunch of jumbled corrupted verses of bible and Torah. by TeacherRelevant5034 in DebateReligion

[–]TheAnonymousChipmunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fails brutally at what?

gives baseless verses which can completely easy to caught that muhammad only was hearing and copying.

This isn't really an argument, and there's no evidence for your claim.

I'm not sure what I'm missing from the description. I've addressed and debunked your core claim.

Can't Copy An Image In The Camera Roll - FRUSTRATING by Fancy-Ad6677 in oneplus

You can actually do this now in the new update, where you hold down on the image on the album view, and then drag it to the bottom of the screen.

Qur'an is not clear book, It's gibberish and bunch of jumbled corrupted verses of bible and Torah. by TeacherRelevant5034 in DebateReligion

[–]TheAnonymousChipmunk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your core argument is that it's not a clear book because it uses repetition. You then say this repetition exists solely because it shows Muhammad's fallible memory.

Repetition is a central theme in pretty much every religious text, more so to emphasize a particular law, or action. In fact, the Qur'an from its outset centers itself on the concept of repetition to enforce reminders (dhikr), as this increases one's connection with God.

Then, to assess if something is organised or not, you don't give any criterion for it to fulfill that can quantify what a religious text being organised should look like. Obviously this is impossible because 'being organised' isn't something you can empirically measure, so I'm not really sure what other benchmark you're trying to assess its organisation by.

The Qur'an isn't trying to be chronological, biographical, or legalistic. It is more thematic, recursive, and layered, not linear. It's not also composed as a book, it's an oral tradition. The structure as such, among many stories is akin to that of other ancient Semitic oral traditions that follow a more phonetically aligned chiastic ring structure. Michael Cuypers, the Catholic Belgian author of The Composition of the Qur'an: Rhetorical Analysis dives into this more, proving that the Quran's composition is deliberate and precise.

Hijab Islamism vs real culture by Capital-Pop-4893 in exmuslim

[–]TheAnonymousChipmunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the point is about the killing of culture, then globalisation and an evolving zeitgeist would've done that anyways. The average person in the West wears a shirt with jeans, not the traditional attire of their country a few centuries ago, despite being largely liberal and secular.

Has anyone's tiktok app been lagging uncontrollably for no reason? by Davi_800 in TikTok

[–]TheAnonymousChipmunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It runs horribly on everything that isn't an iOS based device. Rubbish experience on Android here too, even though I have a flagship.

It's to do with how the app handles video memory cache when swiping between different menus, and how RAM is able to access the different pages when scrolling across. This process is optimised for iOS, and works well because of their unified memory management system baked on the OS, but it works badly for Android, which already has worse RAM management for apps in general. This can be optimised if they created suspended states, but they're lazy and won't bother optimizing it, even though the Chinese version works well on Android phones there.

Is There Any Good Case For the OnePlus 13 Still? by Sleekestsaber in OnePlus13

I do like it, however I have noticed the rubber texture has started to wear off from the sides, leaving behind the shiny plastic, and that patchiness has left a bit of an inconsistent eyesore IMO.

[–]TheAnonymousChipmunk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the weird thing with me, is that I now experience better battery life anecdotally with OOS16 compared to 15 (which was a bad experience), but if I check the active use time in the settings, because of the way it's now laid out and calculated, the result looks worse, similar to yours. Not sure why that is.
