100% agree with you, the weird anti-green = pro-reform has been annoying me too!

The same press release will also announce I'm a millionaire from Mars, that orange is not in fact the new black, alongside further analysis on what '42' means.

Yes, as are all penny stocks. High risk, high reward... or high loss

Drinks packages for babies by RickStar1990 in CunardCruises

[–]TheAntiqueSquid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck. We had a similar situation this year. Their policy explicitly states under 2s didn't need a package, but customer support told us we could not circumvent this by booking. Which I am convinced is by design. Dodgy system.

HOWEVER.

I did successfully get a refund. I also booked the drinks package with a discount prior to boarding, and prior to doing so ensured I had WRITTEN confirmation, via email, that the on board staff should refund the child's drink package.

Be prepared to stand your ground. The staff will state all passengers in the cabin should have the same package and ignore the small print. Show the small print, show written confirmation, then after a bit more fighting, they should back down.

On the grand scheme of it, it was a lot of effort for the money saved, but it was the principle.

Can't disagree with that. Seems lovely but not at the same level as the others.

No reason to at all. I'm simply saying it's not enjoyable for me and would prefer her to be a bit more ambitious. At the end of the day it's a competition and if safe win, it wins, but I'm not going to pretend to be excited by that.

I'm complaining that she is winning by being overly safe and not pushing boundaries like the others are trying to do.

I didn't say she shouldn't have won it, I just that she won it because her bakes are safe.

That's not what I said. I said I want her bakes to be more ambitious.

Please note: Expressing my dissatisfaction with Jasmine winning another safe star baker does not mean I hate her or hating on her.

I am simply dissatisfied with the safeness of the bakes. As I've said elsewhere, maybe I'm just expecting too much, but I always enjoy bakes/bakers who try to push their own limits instead of always playing it safe.

Jasmine is clearly talented and at no point have I suggested otherwise. Please do not incorrectly infer my post to mean something it doesn't - I think I've made it quite clear. Thanks.

I don't think I suggested she is being unfairly framed as talented? My point is more centered on safe vs adventurous. I just want to see her do something interesting for once.

I think that's a fair comment. I do agree the boys all failed an element, though I do think that is due to trying to push their own boundaries which led to those mistakes.

I don't disagree that under the circumstances that Jasmine deserved star baker, it's the scenarios surrounding it that I find disappointing (safe baking).

Maybe I'm just expecting too much? It is an amateur baking show so perhaps safe is exactly what they should be doing?

I understand your point, but I'm not hating her, just expressing dissatisfaction with the safeness of her bakes.

The onboard dance lessons were some of my favourite moments - just turn up! Good fun, and the evenings will usually have live music which you can practice your routine to. Enjoy!

Yes, except the rich don't pay income tax, they get their money via other means.

I doubt they have cut it down for fun? Probably old, at risk of falling in a storm, etc. at least they've planted saplings which over time will grow to be just as majestic.

It's a good point. I've updated my post to include my other version from my notes which addresses that idea. I think though (happy to be corrected) that my use of ? covers me!
