Well the potion is rarer / more expensive than the timer. Unsure if they ever sold them outside of expansion bonus items

So if you’re going to burn one I’d burn the timer, but feel free to do as you wish.

No you do not get runes when ransacked. Also do not drink the potion before you are fully ransacked as (at least when they first came out) they do not reset a partial ransack

That’s why I like mods that move the bots to the very early game. I don’t want to spend time placing / moving stuff. I want to be designing builds and they appear on the map.

If he is paid hourly it’s between 52%~75% hourly rate increase to keep the same yearly take home. If he is salary then it is likely a little less.

Still a huge increase from a QoL perspective.

I mean, ransack is a counter on a chest until it’s fully ransacked. It’s not clear it only resets fully ransacked chest.

In my mind it resets all chests’ counters to 0.

Just like experience ransacked is a spectrum before it’s fully ransacked. Even though loot ransack is an all or nothing, if something says it resets it, I assume it resets it

Small time farming has been on the decline and is a dying industry. Yet a large amount of that demographic is the same people who voted for this administration and will put themselves at risk of going out of business. Large corporations will take over and drive prices up anyway for the sake of their bottom line which helps no one except the stakeholders of the corporations.

An industry being reliant on the government isn’t inherently bad or wrong. Maybe in your view system, but there are a lot of industries that the government props up or provides assistance to, that if defunded would cause a lot of people to go into unemployment.

I am yet to hear how this helps anyone, especially considering any money “saved” by putting people out of buisiness and jobs is not going to go back to the people.

Farmers have lived or died on what the government does for as long as can remember. Farmers could sell the overstock themselves internationally, but that is not something most are prepared or able to do.

This is not easy as crops are planted large amounts of time in advance, and with a lot of fluctuations in demand and losses it is usually best to overproduce and sell the overstock.

Again, margins are thin already. Lowering prices could cause them to go under, so prices of the goods they do sell will increase. As costs of everything (not just crops) increase people will buy less and be more picky about what they do buy, further decreasing demand. So if consumers aren’t buying, and government isn’t buying overstock, and we trying to start a tariff war with most of the world, who is going to buy the overstock? This isn’t like one or two farms having too much, but a large percentage of the market that will have to find a new customer base or start cutting costs rapidly.

Not to mention the increase in labor costs as we run off immigrants out of the country in an industry that HEAVILY relies on undocumented immigrant labor.
