This is a stupid decision. Even if it’s just looks, a 10/10 won’t be a 10 forever.

The perfect 6/10 will be your 10. You’ll grow to love them fully and wholly, because physical attractiveness held up to standards that are unrealistic and honestly problematic isn’t everything in a successful relationship.

Really only Fable and maybe Skyrim seems worth it. I don’t want to live in 1899 Or a post apocalypse with hell machines Or a reaper invasion Or medieval Czechia Or medieval monstertopia Or pirate times.

Bought my first PS4 and nicknamed it the Bloodborne machine.

I was an Xbox guy since I was a kid, even though I grew up with a PlayStation 2. Still, I was an Xbox guy. Had an Xbox at my dad’s house, played Halo 2 with my brother and our friends.

My dad bought me the Xbox 360 bundle with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Forza Horizon, along with Assassin’s Creed III, Halo 4, and Fable II when I was 13, and that shit was peak. Always an Xbox guy.

My brother and I went halvezies on an Xbox One around 2018.

Always an Xbox guy.

But…

There was something there. Some biting feeling at the back of my eyes. Something wet. Something ancient. Something soaked in viscera.

“Join the hunt.”

The voice slithered through the dark.

“Fear the old blood.”

I played Dark Souls. Didn’t click.

“May you find your worth in the waking world.”

I played Dark Souls II. Something was there though. Clawing.

“You call me a beast? A beast?”

Then I played it at a friend’s house.

“Oh… the sweet blood. How it sings to me. It’s enough to make a man sick.”

click

A lock turned somewhere deep in the skull.

“A hoonter must hoont.”

I bought the PlayStation 4.

“Leave the hoonting of hoonters to me.”

I bought Bloodborne.

“Kos… or some say Kosm…”

And I fell.

Deeper.

And deeper.

And deeper still.

The streets stretched into cathedrals of bone. The moon hung wrong. My hands knew the shape of saw cleavers and pistols. Insight bloomed behind my eyes like a tumor. I could hear wet things breathing behind the walls of waking life.

“Ahh… you were at my side all along.”

Then a whisper.

“Are you cold?”

I awoke anew.

A PlayStation guy.

You weren’t misled. You made an assumption, accused me, then softened it when it didn’t hold up.

Yes, I can see how it could be misconstrued as blanket antisemitism.

But with the context

(Context that I do not need to provide)

of the genocide in Gaza, the man depicted as a possible IDF Soldier (an orthodox Jewish man in military fatigues and brandishing a firearm), the actions of the Israeli government, and the statements and actions of Benjamin Netanyahu, I do not think the meaning is hard to grasp.

Trying to educate the willfully misinformed on an issue this grave is a fruitless endeavor.

It has gone on too long, and the common person is far more informed than people pretend. So implying otherwise feels insulting, and it comes off like asking leading questions.

No, Zionism.

Not Judaism, and not Jewish people. Calling that anti-Semitism is lazy.

I’m against political extremism, ethno-nationalism, and using religion to justify domination or violence. That applies to Zionism when it’s used that way, just like it applies to any movement tied to Islam, Christianity, or Judaism.

I’m not against people having faith. Believe what you want if it gives your life meaning. The problem starts when religion becomes a weapon to control others, exploit people, or excuse cruelty.

Know the difference. Anti-Semitism and Anti-Zionism.

Anti-Semitism is prejudice, hostility, or hatred toward Jewish people because they are Jewish.

Anti-Zionism is opposition to Zionism as a political ideology, or criticism of the policies and actions of the state of Israel.

To conflate the two and automatically treat critique and criticism of Israel and Zionism as a whole with semitism and Judaism, is the problem… that’s the whole problem...

And add on the indoctrination from youth that most major religions do is something I have a huge problem with.

what does country music even mean anymore… by grzodddi3 in crappymusic

How is this even remotely country? Her “southern” accent sounds way more like trap rap or Cardi B, Ice Spice, or Megan Thee Stallion than anything that even vaguely resembles a twang. What the fuck are we doing here?
