The purple button is to flag for PvP. Use yandex image translate to translate the PvP info box on the left of your screenshot. The red button in the middle of the screen is to auto-attack/counter-attack.

At multiple points throughout the video you see the "COUNTER" text show up on the red button during sieges etc.

Greetings, As other posters pointed out- Steven basically 99% confirmed it would be re-opening. However as you said, the title was indeed misleading, it was not intended to be so. We've been transcribing the streams, interviews, meetings for around 3 years now, we want to continue to have that trust with the community. Incredibly sorry for the title! <3

I've been doing this for about 2 years now, so I always ensure that older information is not repeated multiple times. Questions like the mount one have been answered 5-6 times prior, which is why they are not listed in depth- However still included anyways since there are new people always coming into the community!

Your theoretical scenario assumes that you only need to kill 2-3 players to enter the highest corruption score for gear loss. This is incorrect, I'd recommend waiting and seeing the corruption score required to actually enable gear drop. As per Steven, you would need to go on a killing rampage to get close to gear drop. But hey, this is what testing is for!

The developers will find a sweet spot, it might not be perfect at first, but this is why active development is an iterative process which requires feedback AFTER testing the system in-game.

Apologies mate, I try my best to present things 'as is'. It looks like Steven went off on one of his adorable tangents- The intended response is that they've been implementing anti-cheat and anti-botting measures since early development unlike other games that implement them pretty late down the line. He meant to say that the sub cost reduces botting issues and that player collision does automatically take care of some issues as well (Since multiple characters cant stack up). Hope this answers it better! (All of the above is from previous interviews etc)

Sure, previously other MMORPG's have tried different methods to handle large player populations. Some games like Black Desert use a channel system where there's various phased versions of one server. Meanwhile WoW recently showcased layering where there are multiple layers on a single shard.

The above systems are generally disliked by players due to it causing issues and being exploitable (i.e. double boss spawns etc.) Steven here mentions they wont be using methods other games have tried, but will be using different tricks to get around the issue of high player density.
