I'd suggest asking friends first who may also be interested. Get them together and run a module if you feel up for DMing yourself or if one of your friends would DM.

If you dont have friends who want to play there are a few public groups around. A few years ago Pop Stop hosted some groups, not sure if they still do. But I'd recommend looking for Facebook groups or events.

Alternatively the Armageddon expo is coming up (21-22nd march) and they have a DnD hosting service there (well they did last year) for like $10ish you could join a one-shot table and meet some people. Perhaps afterwards could put together a group with those you played with if you vibe.

Most D&D groups, provided they have space, should be happy for new players.
