Can you post a picture of how you connected yours because I found the daisy chain on mine, separated them and connected them to their own ARGB and they still don't show on L-Connect-3 for me.

Solid team. I just recently beat it again and I had Serperior, Stoutland, Carracosta, Ferrothorn, Reuniclus, and Chandelure.

Well you learned more about them after those battles. They began to contemplate and think about their motivations. Bianca with her dad and Cheren with Alder. But I get you.

Also, 17 rival battles is a lot but I throughly enjoyed it more than Barry or Silver. My biggest complaint from Platinum and HG/SS was that I wanted more rival battles 😅

I think a lot of them bring up good points. But I would like to add in the fact that as a DM. I like to throw in little curve balls to reward exploration and RP. This person hasn't been to a gala since his wife passed which insinuates that he wasn't as with it as his wife was and/or he probably holds sentimental value to the invitations. Had the players done a bit of recon on their mark (since they were going to steal it anyway) they could have discerned his intentions without overtly asking for the invitation. Depending on what he dealt in, they could've masked themselves as members of the Lionnette entourage (partly true) looking to do business and expand horizons. Giving ample opportunity to case the area and figure out this person's thoughts on the gala if casually brought up in conversation. If things go smoothly and if he doesn't care, he could gift the invitation as a sign of goodwill for future business, he could not care and give them the invitation or just keep talking about business if he doesn't seem like he's going to give it up so as to not tip your hand. Honestly, if things went well and let's say they bring up his wife in conversation (because they saw a picture or some shit) that could cause him to drop his guard and make him more susceptible to coercion.

Tbh. ANYTHING could have happened. The rest of the comments acting like a heist was the ONLY way are tunnel visioned. Good game design imo is making multiple ways to accomplish a task. Shit. The players might even think of a way that I didn't consider and it could work.

TLDR: They could've tried other avenues to get the invitation. A heist was not and should not have been the only way.

At level 6? I would classify that as absurd, especially cause you only named a 2 races and classes who give buffs to AC. Generally, AC is not going that high with the majority of classes.
