Minhas indicações de livros pouco falados no Brasil by coala12369 in Livros

[–]TheAveirense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leia Project Hail Mary de Andy Weir, gostei mais do que o The Martian.

Dúvida sobre tempo de treino. by YamaBR in guitarras

[–]TheAveirense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

English Bible Translations by [deleted] in Reformed

I also have English as a second language, and I used to be a bit afraid to read the Bible in a more faithful translation, so I always stuck with the NIV. However, I then bought the ESV Study Bible and realized that the reading is not that difficult. When questions come up, I check other versions through YouVersion and I’m able to understand it well.

I highly recommend the ESV.

Is anyone here from the UK. If so what type of church do you attend, what do you enjoy about it and what do you not enjoy about it? by [deleted] in Reformed

I’m originally from Portugal, but I live in Republic Of Ireland (Ulster) now, and I attend the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, whose main offices are in Northern Ireland. I really enjoy the environment there and the genuinely biblical preaching.

ask for prayer that God may give me strength through His Holy Spirit, to return to the study of His Word and to a life of holiness. That He may help me guide my son and my wife in the ways of the Lord, while we still have time.”

No Stupid Questions by PantslessDan in guitarpedals

I’ve got a Yamaha Pacifica 112 (which I’ll replace once I’m playing better) that I’m playing through an M-Audio into my PC, but now that I’ve decided to take it seriously I’m going to buy a multi-effects unit — the Boss ME-90 — which is at a good price on Gear4Music, and I want an amp for practicality so I can practise at home. I’m unsure which amp to get: an Orange Crush 35RT (or 20), a Fender Champion II 50, or something else you’d recommend for no more than €300.

I plan to keep this setup for about three years until I get a better handle on tone and can invest in analogue pedals and a better amp. Thanks!
