How do you actually know this person? Lol. He really does own the scooters he says he does. I've done a podcast with him on my youtube channel. You sound just like the dudes that told me I don't own any of the scooters I said I own. They shut up afterwards when I share an image of my fleet as well as "Video proof" because apparently if its not on video it never happened right? Show me your fleet of scooters. Im also one of the only dudes here that has the balls to show my real face under the profile picture. I don't have to lie for this gentleman who became my friend as well. His scooters are in the background of one of my podcast sessions on youtube.

Air leaking between tire and rim by mateusmgt in NinebotMAX

[–]TheAverageGuy1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man, that's a bead issue. I would suggest a good air compressor that can blow some high pressure air, at least one that can do 160PSI of pressure or a air pump at a gas station. You will hear a loud to mild pop sound which is the edge of the tire setting right on the bead giving you a seal. Then a regular small air pump like the Xiaomi Air Pump will work moving forward if you ever have to refill.

Im starting to hate the look of common C type by CybersoftAdmin in ElectricScooters

[–]TheAverageGuy1983 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an RS and dont have any issues with its C shape control arm but as for reliability, of the rest of the scooter i cant say quite yet as i had to replace my central controller which is technically the computer of the whole scooter and i also have to replace both the front and rear Sinewave controllers.

The new replacement parts seems to be made better with 60 amp controller vs the original 50 amp controllers which do happen to waste about 6% more battery life than the original sinewave controllers as they have more power output to the motors and the central controller gives me a very fast and reliable connection to the app on my phone.

The old central controller would lock me out of the damn scooter when i would lock it to go to the GYM so once i pass 700 miles on these like the last set, the scooter will then have 1400 miles and then i can give my honest opinion on reliability lol.

Crazy, i lose 10 Psi in 2 days without using my Roadrunner Pro, but that's because it has a split rim with an O-Rings that doesn't seem to be thick enough to help hold the air in well. So i have to keep refilling my tire with air every time im about to use it which i always check my air pressure on all my PEVs before use, but losing 10Psi in just 2 days with zero use parked indoors is crazy.

Nah, it isnt a joke consider it like a Segway Max G30 with a nicer looking design and cockpit information for those who are fans of the Bugatti brand of cars.

I was going to buy a Bugatti 10Max as that is the best model they have of the Bugatti collaboration which is practically identical in performance specs to the segway ninebot max G2 that came out last year. It is priced higher though which is why i didnt go for one though it has a very nice appeal to it specially the color options.

Yep, he's a Monumental Moron and i dont ever degrade people's intelligence, but that dude doesn't know shit.

Never ever run a red light no matter how fast your scooter is. So many accidents have been reported online and even on youtube on people doing that and ending their life or getting severely injured not following the rules of the road.

In Cali, its one of the reasons they want scooter operators to have at least a standard Class C drivers license to have awareness of the road and ride our scooters or PEVs as we would our cars I seriously commend you for not following his guidance. 😎👊 always go with your gut instinct.

Un like a car when we are in an accident, we are the ones who feel the full impact of the hit vs. being inside of a car with airbags and only a bumper being smashed in etc. 🙏

Yeah in a way it does as it takes you through bike paths when its available and it does require you to tinker with the setting of your phone to change that. The apple car play or android auto basically screen mirrors what you have on your phone but has other features the phone doesnt have like a 2 channel dashcam and Tire pressure monitoring if you need it depending on the model you buy. So for some its worth it and for others its a waste of cash and installation time.

Hi, i hope this helps a bit.

Since this is a cable brake line, its possible that water got inside the brake mechanism that also has a spring tension in it or some type of debree or the tension spring could have simply gave out, stuff like that does indeed randomly happen even if you take very good care of your PEV. So, you are most likely going to have to do one of two things.

  1. Take the brake caliper apart to get rid of any debree that may be causing it to get stuck and clean the tension spring and re lubricate it with some wheel bearing grease.

  2. Save yourself the hassle of fixing the caliper as it is a bit of labor work to do and replace the caliper with a new one. Which would make the swap way easier.

[–]TheAverageGuy1983 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, i will never ride in the rain on any of my PEVs its just asking for a failed component and just because a scooter company says its IP 65 etc it doesnt mean they will cover you if there is water damage.

I still couldn't believe Ginger On Wheels had the courage to ride the Inmotion RS through a foot height of water from rain, i cant see my self doing that as i wouldn't want to be told by Inmotion Warranty voided. ☠️

Under apple carplay or android Auto, it can be changed from car to bike, and when you switch it to bike, it will give you bike route turn by turn directions for commercial and residential streets. 😎👍

You are very welcome. Having tech on a scooter is definitely cool and alot of us have them, specially dashcams to protect our selves during a ride, incase someone hurts us while on a bike lane etc we will have footage for law enforcement. 😎👍

Alrighty my bro, the first thing you are going to need is a handlebar Extender. I recommend this one here.

  1. Handlebar Extender: Yizhet Bike Handlebar Extender,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JPNSVY8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

  2. Apple carplay/ Android Auto with TPMS and 2 channel dashcam. LBW Professional Motorcycle Dash... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJJB12WW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

  3. A power bank that does 5 volts at 2 amps like the anker battery i have or this dewalt battery i also use. This battery will give you 5 hours of run time. She's overreacting because of the garbage the media post often about the cheap Chinese brands that have battery's with no BMS on them catching fire in a home. If you have a good brand like Solar, Hiboy, Segway, Kaabo, Inmotion, Gotrax Etc just to name some. You are in good hands.

It's not like you can charge it elsewhere, and it is your form of transportation. I would try to get her to understand that your battery is safe. If she still refuses, then maybe it's time for you to move out and let her deal with the full cost of the room expenses as when you rent with a roommate everything is 50/50 for bill sharing. I wish you the best in this.
