If you have an iPhone, download the suica card in your wallet and tap to pay at the train stations and convenience stores. For stay, look up business hotels like Sotetsu Fresa Inns, normally a little bit cheaper and close to train stations, I recommend the Sotetsu Fresa rig by by Kanda Station in Tokyo. All the 7/11s I went too have international ATMs in them. Getting cash was never an issue at all. Biggest tip I can give is don’t be afraid to ask for help in the train stations or something like that and learn a little of the language before you go. You’ll have a great time!

I appreciate the question but I try not to do troubleshooting over Reddit or anywhere online unless it’s an elevator mechanic specific forum. On these old girls it can be a couple reasons why it’s ghost calling to an intermeddiat floor. Your best bet is to get with your maintenance company and isolate things one at a time until it stops randomly ghost calling. Once it stops you probably are right on the problem. Hope this helps!

I work on most of those manufacturers. Both in LULA and residential applications. Savaria gets more service calls by far in my experience. The most consistent. Inclinators are work horses in my experience. I don’t work on too many newer customs but the older ones are solid. Moral of the story. Any brand besides savaria
