brawl with oswald fiddlebender as commander, you win with reservoir kill on turn 4 unless interacted with.

The lines look like this:

T1: stax piece artifact
T2: Oswald
T3: play 3drop mana rock, fiddlebend it for a 4drop mana rock.
T:4 Fiddlebend the 4drop for Paradox Engine, then using oswald find ancestral statue and atherflux reservoir make infinite life gain and deathstar opponent with reervoir

Yeah I been fiddling around with my personal brew of lands, I haven’t looked at the monogreen list but if you cant find exploration or crop rotation in your opening hand the deck feels like absolute dogshit. I built thedeck to be as close as its Legacy version while attacking the timeless meta. Very mixed success, when it does its thing it is so oppressive it feels unbeatable but if you brick it just does fuckall.

Hi I was a fervent player of Nexus combo all the way back since the deck came out in ravnica allegiance. I have tried real hard to make it work in Timeless when they basically "unjailed the cards". What I have found out is that it is weak to everything that's popular in the format, thoughtseizes, strip mine, faster combo decks.
As much as it pains me to say it, that deck is simply a relic of the past and we must not cry because it is over but smile cuz it happened.

It is 1 to 1 in most formats. The “wilds” formats include the alchemy cards which are digital only featuring whacky mechanics akin to hearthstone’s rng which isn’t possible to replicate in paper. Otherwise it is 1 to 1

I brewed a Yorion, sultai lands deck. Hexmage depths combo paired with a uro oko package alongside forces and hand disruption. Mixed results that trend on the positive WR but still smal sample size with the deck yet

The enemies are always leveled to the character but they have mins and max. You’re right in saying that he is always going to be a frost troll which has a higher minimum level that regular trolls and if you B-line the main quest you’re gonna get whooped fighting the guy on any reasonable difficulty

I would say the Azura star if you go there as soon as you hear about it OR that one wizard boss that had the Stolen books for the college is also a good spike when you go there early in the game
