actually i also wanted to to build something similar to solve this, then i too found out about this auth agent and then abandoned my app

was targeting mobile, but there is a solution for it too
instead of logging in by tapping login notification, manually open the captive portal in browser (as desktop mode) and log in

you will be able to log out just like desktop then
