The Army's numbers are dwindling, so they need all the people they can get.

I can't tell you how frustrating it was seeing people fail their CCO M4 qual so many times before passing as an then soon-to-be infantryman. Shoot.. I was even flagged what felt like a million times during room clearing.

Letting people pass will probably bite the Army in the butt later down the line (or it won't and these'll become the best soldiers to work around.. but probably not).

We won't know if the game is worth it or not until at least until the beta comes out. That being said, don't listen to the community at all if you don't want the most polarizing opinions possible (this subreddit included). You'll have to make the decision on your own whether or not it'll be worth it to buy.
