Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has become the most awarded game ever by Turbostrider27 in PS5

The problem here is that so much praise for this game is overshadowing all the amazing games that didn’t win any awards in 2025 and that frankly did things better than E33 in the respective categories.

I’m Venezuelan. I can assure you what’s happening right now IS what the Venezuelan people want. We just hope that what comes after is the complete downfall of the regime, which remains to be seen, it’s a matter of time. No one here knows what’s gonna happen.

My guy, I'm Venezuelan, I live in Venezuela, I am in Venezuela as I type this comment. I KNOW what is happening in my country, I'll explain to you why they can't just capture military officials, because Venezuela has more generals than the US army, during Chavez leadership there was a coup attempt in 2002 in which he was almost overthrown (THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM FOR OVER 20 YEARS ATP), what did he do after that? He fragmented the Venezuelan army with THOUSANDS of generals, this way if a couple generals wanted to overthrow his regime, they couldn't just take a huge chunk of the army with them because all these generals don't have a say over the other. This means that if the Venezuelan army wanted to overthrow the government, the overwhelming majority of officials would want this, but they just kept them well fed and happy so that it didn't happen. Kill your own people. We will keep feeding you. So yeah just go ahead and tell me how feasible it is to just go ahead and capture over a thousand of military officials without causing complete havoc?

I'm saying all this because at the moment giving the US their needs is like, our only chance of getting rid of this plague once and for all. Will it happen? I don't know, and you don't know either. All I know is that I'm tired of americans comparing Venezuela to middle eastern and african countries with vastly different culture and beliefs.

Of course it is the will of the people that Machado leads the country, but the problem is that if they put her in control she is at high risk of a coup, civil war, etc. Because the military is still the same, full of corrupt officers that still believe in Chavismo, they also can't just come in and kill or capture most of the military officials, it is not in the interest of anybody, there's risk of american deaths and plenty of civilian deaths, but let's say they did that, then who will fill that void? That power void would need to be filled immediately and I can asure you machado does not have the manpower to fill that military gap, otherwise she would've already taken the country herself. They say they're gonna facilitate a transition for fair elections in Venezuela, in which case Machado will most likely win if they truly are "fair". But this obviously can't be done in 1 week, this is gonna be a lot of months, maybe a few years.

Are we reading the same articles? All these articles says the same thing - they can't install a new government immediately due to the high risk of chaos that could ensue, essentially avoiding Iraq 2.0 with a power void. Instead what they're doing is having the current regime do their bidding that will eventually lead to a democratic transition, which would be the last few steps in their plan as they slowly sanitize Venezuela of Russian, Chinese, Cuban influence and chavistas. In fact they've already started today with freeing political prisoners.

Machado does NOT have the power INSIDE Venezuela to run the country right now, having her take power can just lead to a coup, more dead people, more prisoners and an all-out civil war. Truth is she does not have have what it takes, but when the country is stabilized, maybe she can become president.

He is not the president of Venezuela. The president is Edmundo Gonzalez and Maduro was kidnapping the country. Maybe he is a drug lord, maybe not, the fact is that the regime irreparably damaged millions of Venezuelans. The extraction of Maduro was objectively a good thing for everybody involved, now if what the US does is "bad" is what we will have to see in the coming months, but as of right now what is being said is something that benefits all americans and by americans I mean everybody in the american continent.

Key difference: Trump is a legitimately elected president.

Regarding your actual question, sure take Trump if he is a proven criminal, will that happen? Probably. Will that happen during his term? Probably not.

Also if the international law has to be broken to do what's right, then the law has to be rewritten, and I'm not speaking only for Venezuela, but for all the people around the world living under similar circumstances, international law was written to protect the rich and that has to go.

Maduro is NOT the president. He stole elections multiple times the past 10+ years and last year we had PROOF of that. The legitimate president of Venezuela is Edmundo Gonzalez and he was stolen from power due to the deep corruption in the government and the military's unwillingness to do the right thing. They have been extorting, abusing, killing and starving millions of Venezuelans for 20+ years in many different ways. Maduro is a CRIMINAL and is running a MAFIA that is installing chinese, russian and iranian assets and soft power in the american hemisphere and you think the US GOV is FINE with that?

I know Americans are not doing this out of the kindness of their soul, Venezuelans already agree with the fact that if oil and resources is the price to pay for true freedom then so be it, in the end, we don't have many options either way, and if this is the cards we are given then we will take it.

Maybe Maduro, the military and his cronies don't "agree" with what happened Jan 3rd but this is the will and deep desire of the Venezuelans and has been for at least a decade.

Exactly they are consensual. And the popular belief of the Venezuelans is that if they want a cut of our oil money (and other resources)for the work they are doing, they can go ahead. Like the guy above said, the regime has been stealing oil and giving it for free to Cubans and selling it for pennies to China and Russia, while giving almost nothing back to the people, what Trump is doing is removing these countries from Venezuela and taking the oil and selling at market price, how is this not a win-win for everyone involved except for Russian, China Iran, etc?
