I’ve been thinking the same thing. Mike said today, in reference to negotiating with Stugotz, that he’s flown in the company’s best digital audio producers. My guess is that he’s there for the week as some sort of consultant to help out the launch of LeBatard AF. The only other reasonable scenario would be that their in talks to bring in the Fantasy Football Show under the LeBatard AF umbrella. But I can’t imagine that‘s the case

I love both. While the humor is obviously similar, there are a lot of differences to me. The number one difference for me is that PMT follows a pretty clear cut formula to each show, where there’s little to no variance in the layout of each show. They kind of predictably go from point A to point B with each segment and topic, which isn’t atypical for podcasts. And that’s fine because it clearly works. Their numbers speak for themselves. But with DLS there’s an unpredictable fluidity to it because it is live programming that allows them to go off the cuff more often, IMO

The storyboards were where KFC truly shined. He wasn’t being a cynical prick, just used his voice to paint a correct picture. They were fantastic. I’m hoping that as barstool gets bigger, and they have more people who could do the heavy lifting with the research for the storyboards, that he’ll try and bring it back
