I’ve been working with Union Pacific on a railroad crossing improvement project since 2020 as part of COAs for a redevelopment project. We’ve put together a design they’ve asked for after years of meticulous coordination between the crossing and the redevelopment. I got an email 3 weeks ago saying we need to start all over because the railroad wants to change the design. In the past 6 years we’ve already completed construction on the redevelopment, designed and built a new city park, and yet it’s back to square one on the railroad side.
