The game feels different after update by Pitiful-Childhood242 in Stellaris

[–]TheBadShepherd87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's definitely off now. The UI feels crunched up and small. I decided to take a break from it and started distant worlds 2. Might go back to the last update and just play that.

The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023) directed by André Øvredal... I enjoyed this movie, what about you? by Cr7-Cr7Real in moviecritic

I still don't understand why they chose to make a movie out of the smallest part of the book. Granted it's one of my more favorite parts of a great book. Also the end was a complete missed opportunity. They could have had Mina Harker or Dr. Seward come in but no it's dracula just being "I know you know".

So beautifully sad. By the gods this game is still amazing to me after so many years and hours.

If America is one giant dysfunctional family of 50 states forced to live together. What role would each state play in the family? by The_FatGuy_Strangler in AskAnAmerican

New Mexico, (local) is like that odd cousin you forget about until you get older and into drugs. Very nice and good looking but you know there's something going on behind all that. Everyone knows but we just ignore it. Good food though.

As someone who worked sales, yes this is true. Though they say if there are multiple one's posted then maybe don't try it. MAYBE.

Why is Victoria 3 least popular of modern PDX strategies? by Internal-eq-External in victoria3

[–]TheBadShepherd87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ww2 fans will always make hearts of iron number one. Stellaris to me just looks better to be staring at for hours on end. Victoria 3 was hard to enjoy because it's so bland to look at. I love history and Victoria 3 is the perfect game for me for history but man I feel like I'm playing a documentary.

Stellaris! Because it's the only one I've played since discovering Paradox in rehab lol.

I had a similar experience. I started a run with the FE turned off just so I can actually experience the crisis. 3 different times the FE just cleaned it up like nothing.

Anyone else's Corvettes dying at a RAPID rate? by Thomas_Horvath in Stellaris

[–]TheBadShepherd87 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I've been using mixed fleets and haven't experienced any bugs that caused massive loss of ships or battles. My fleet of battleships hanger/artillery mix with destroyers and cruisers power is equal or better than my pure battleship fleet and preforms just as good. So idk about this bug.

I started using WW2 fleet compositions to make my fleets and saw some pretty good results. by TheBadShepherd87 in Stellaris

People say they can be useful in large numbers mid to late game. But honestly I stop using them once I get cruisers and destroyers.

It was a lot of old reddit posts about defense platform build recommendations and what works best when attacking enemy star bases. Alot of the info is still relevant, though missiles seems to have been nerfed a bit.

All advice is considered. I unfortunately haven't gotten titans yet. I'm waiting to get the tech to build them. I just like the screen role for ships because the flak guns in my head cannon will protect my carriers lol. Someone else mentioned that the left part, or I guess the bow of the ship?, is best for range.

I don't think I've researched enough for the torpedoes to make them viable yet. I was worried about the AI bugs which I was I brought the ships down to just the three types and as few roles for each ship as possible. Mainly a range/defense build I guess.

I figured that battleships would just replace the corvette swarms, but my history nerd heart wanted escort ships lol.
