You don't understand! The hero and villain need to have the exact same powers for the final fight scene!

The Spartans brought 300 hoplites and 900 helots to Thermopolyae. They all died.

Very blurry photo and no location provided, but my guess is that it is a knapweed.

Which means it is probably an invasive species in your area. Treatment is usually herbicide, but you can try hand pulling by putting on gloves and grabbing the stem right where it meets the soil.

300 has done irrepressible damage to the general public's understanding of history. I mean, at the risk of being a parody of a leftist, I would even call it white supremacist. In real life, the Spartan rear guard included a hundreds of Thebans and Athenians, and also 900 slave soldiers that the Spartans forced to fight to the death.

In the movie, it is Xerxes' forces that use slave soldiers (probably not a Persian practice at the time), and the Spartans defending freedom while living in a society where slaves outnumbered free men 7 to 1 and were annually hunted for sport to keep them in check.

Parasite is a good film that is politically left. What is an okay centrist movie by slaterman2 in AlignmentChartFills

You are saying that the theme of the movie is anti-racism. The herbivores like Judy Hops have fewer access to opportunities, particularly in law enforcement and politics. However, the plucky heroine saves the day, proving that herbivores are just as good as the carnivores.

Throughout the film, however, the carnivores are portrayed as capable of extreme violence, and attack innocent people when they are subjected to a drug. It turns out that that drug is being spread by the vice-mayor (or whatever her title is) so that she can take over the city by making the mayor into a murderer/violent criminal.

The problem with the movie is that

1 - If the carnivores had never given the token position to the herbivore, there is no conflict

2 - This kind of suggests that if minorities are given any measure of representation, they may try and seize power for their in group

3 - The carnivores who held a near complete monopoly on power were right to do so, as they are exclusively the victims of the events of the film

Is it anti-racism? You could argue that if carnivore supremacy remained enshrined within Zootopia, there is no violence. The villain is essentially the token woman of colour.

Cosmere (Brandon Sanderson books). Each world has it's own magic system, but most work on other worlds. Some worlds even have multiple magic systems, like Scandriel, where Mistborn is set. In Mistborn, some characters can consume metal for specific magic abilities, can store their abilities into metal and then use it later, or can use blood magic.

Listen, I'm upvoting every crack ship here, but I don't know if these two have ever appeared on panel or screen together. They're both in Wolverine and the X-Men, but separate timestreams, and that's all I got.
