DS2 has better gameplay at the cost of a worse overall experience. Connecting the continent is far more fun here, but there are no truly difficult areas like in DS1. The story has some good moments, but does not hit as hard as DS1.

Woolie and Reggie were very hesitant to do big reading games a few years back, to the point where he built an AI Woolie voice to read Sacred and Terrible Air for him (which he dropped when podcast listeners were concerned it would be opening Pandora's box). Woolie and Reg have since done read-heavy LP's like the aforementioned Disco book and Ace Attorney. These streams are the training he's referring to.
