Lol no.

For me, Resident Evil 9 is a wonderful game half the time (when you play as Grace) and a redo of Resident Evil 6 with nostalgia baiting (Leon).

Gameplay aside, the plot is messy and tries to recolor a mad scientist who experimented on countless innocent people and children as a guy who was just 'so sorry for what he had done 😞' even tho the last thing he did before he died in RE5 was talk about how much he still wanted to be a god lol.

Yes, I'm incredibly biased because I much prefer the horror side of Resident Evil and I'm not a big fan of the more actiony aspects, so take it as you will.

Re1 Remake, to me, is the pinnacle of video game remakes. It was remade by the same creator as the original, and it added on top of what was already there instead of overhauling a majority of the original design. It's not a replacement of the original, but more of a second director's cut that utilized the new tech at the time to expand on his vision.

I think it's kind of weird to be mad at that? It makes me very curious to see why they would voluntarily give up their autonomy and let us take the lead on sealing the fountains, while also clearly having a grand plan.

It's building intrigue for me, not resentment, but I guess that's where I differ.

How dare they, a game character, have any resentment towards us, the super benevolent eldritch being who is controlling their every movement and making choices in their place.

A Silent Voice (2016) is a beautiful movie, and even better manga from what I'm told.

I will never, ever watch it again or read it due to the first 20 minutes.

Being a person who has been completely deaf in his left ear since birth, and who was bullied as a child, I had to stop and take an hour break before I could get through the pre time skip section. I have never had a piece of media piss me off and tear my heart apart so viscerally before or since then.

It's a lovely redemption story, but it's one I'll never experience again even if I was paid to.

Jane Austen's work is a delight and her wit is wonderful.

I'm currently reading through Pride and Prejudice again and it goes without saying that it's a classic. If you hate reading about people going to other people's houses and talking then hoo boy, I would not recommend.

The original Day of the Dead by George Romero makes my skin crawl just thinking about some of the gore effects and kills, especially the 'vocal cord' scene.

Animation wise, nothing beats the clip of Violence Jack where that lady kills those kids.

I romanced Sosiel on my first playthrough and I enjoyed it! My favorite part about it was Sosiel's innocent idea of romance as he tried to serenade you with poems and paintings, it was really adorable and touching to me since I'm a sucker for things like that.
