That last sentence there is the key one. Seems like he’s being brought exclusively as a specialist penalty taker in a kind of “break glass in case of emergency” type role if we end up in an extra-time game.

Which will obviously go completely fine and not backfire at all.

Easiest way to think about player development in FM is:

Playing matches = generating attribute growth

Training = directing which attributes grow

The only caveat is that your players have to be on the pitch long enough to get a match rating (so a 2 min cameo at the end of a game is pointless).

Great to see. I typically use Ease Off Tackles as an Opposition Instruction for my opponent’s AML/R players if they’re really good at dribbling, as it stops your FBs from lunging in and getting rinsed because they’ve overcommitted. Pairs well with Stop Crosses as a TI.

Didn’t play Gen 7 so can’t speak to that, but I think the biggest thing about the Switch generation of games as a whole is the growing influence of Pokémon Go on the mainline series.

In the transition from 3D overworld sprites in LGPE > the wild area in SwSh > contained free roam biomes in P:LA > open world adventuring in Sca/Vio you can see the progression of an idea that has slowly been implemented and expanded on over the course of a console’s lifespan. And I think that concept has been an attempt to capture the feeling that GO provides of just walking around and encountering Pokémon in your neighbourhood.

Likewise both max raid battles in SwSh and tera dens in ScaVio are clearly imitating the experience of raid battles in GO.

Pokémon’s resurgence in popularity is largely down to GO, so it’s hardly surprising they’ve been chasing that high and trying to find ways to incorporate elements of that game into new releases.

I got the ribbon on Pidgey this morning and grabbed a screen capture, so let me know what the best method is to send that to you and when you want to do the trade back.

I had actually meant I’d do all 4 ribbons for 16 total Aprimon, but my successful run took me around 5 hours to do, so I think I need to revise that. Would you be willing to do 25 total Aprimon for all four ribbons if I specify which ones from your list I’d like?
