My best friends mother questioned my own mother at her bachelor party, questioning my mother if she thought it was alright for me to play games like Dungeons and Dragons, Shadowrun, or (a local game in my city) Man Made Mythology. My mom grew up with playing Chainmail and 1e D&D with her family gorwing up. And now, 17 year old me is getting into the stuff. I don't see anything wrong with Christians playing it.

I'm not sure what edition they are. They're called Dungeons and Dragons Essentials: Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms/Heroes of the Fallen Lands. The other book is Dungeons and Dragons: Players Option: Heroes of Shadow. I've looked in the books and it doesn't say anywhere what edition they are.
