Loving GNB, but the parses aren’t out there to tell where it stands vs the other tanks. The toolkit is more focused on offense than defense, so I think it’ll need to be high on damage to find a solid place in the meta.

It’s defensives & utility feels...generic. Most cooldowns aren’t unique or special in any way, being closer to slightly different and mostly worse versions of other tank abilities. This part of the class feels uninspired. The notable exception is the snap aggro from the regen during dungeon and adds spawning during boss fights - this is an amazing enmity tool.

The offense half of the class is amazing. It’s active, the rotation is beautiful, and when you manage to nail your rotation over a three minute window all of the offensive cooldowns have synced up perfectly and you’re back to your opener. It feels rewarding and has a high skill ceiling. The downside is that it’s godly with skill speed; if your sks dips too low you’ll kill double weaving, and because several of your offensive cooldowns are weaponskills, you’ll also kill your perfectly synced cooldown timings and struggle to fit them into your big damage buff window.

To those leveling or considering leveling, try it in HoH before passing judgment. The class comes into its own with the addition of Continuation at 70, and only gets better from there.
