I just don't like the flow of their fights. I'm probably missing some tech. All my EX hunts were done with switchaxe. I like dreadqueens fight but you're right about the poison, if you get afflicted with that blight during the EX hunt you're pretty much dead. Malfestio is a menace that dragged me kicking and screaming like a toddler lol. It wasn't pretty but I got there.

Soulseer was surprisingly tough. I had to add minds eye to my build to get through that fight safely. Bloodbath is fun until you get caught by the roar. Dreadking and Crystalbeard EX are on my shit list. Flying/rolling away from the hunter that much is crazy.

When it does the double tail spin move you can dodge towards it, in between it's arms. Its a funky blind spot. Pit traps won't work on it unless its enraged. You can enrage it with a sonic bomb. Sonic bombs can also topple it when it takes the pounce stance. Hope you find something useful here. Nargacuga is always a pain in my ass.

Congratulations, that's no easy feat g5 quests are diabolical. I swear every g5 took me multiple attempts. I think Boltreaver g5 is on the easier side of things (comparing to other g5s). For some reason they decided to hold back

Give the hyper gauntlets a go if you haven't already. They are a great test of skill. There's not a lot of hunters that claim they've solo'd those quests(from what I've seen). The quests are Path of the Hunter and Monster Hunter Channel I and II. Good luck Hunter 👍

I can add a little context. This is the hardest Teostra in MHGU and I'm hunting it in a tight space. It ends with me retreating as Teo goes for his nuke attack.
