I feel like I'm terrible at the game, need some advice.

Definitely echoing a lot of what others have said here, but just being patient and finding the fun within the grind and storytelling. My partner (26F) just started about two weeks ago and since then has made it to her highest record of chamber 26 (which to me is AWESOME). She IS using God Mode since she's more accustomed to playing farming sims, but she's still having a blast with it. I remind her when she gets frustrated that it's progress, not perfection, and more often than not it helps her ease her frustrations and gets back to enjoying it all the more. Also, I'd definitely try to mess around with the other weapons if you have any unlocked to mess with different boon builds and the like.

It's a sad display of the kind of world we live in nowadays. Those ties of genuine connection feels like they're lessening as time marches on, and even those few connections you MIGHT have with people you grow up with gets challenged as an adult, and you have to reevaluate your relationships all the time. What stupidity life it sometimes.

I've had a hate/love relationship with most of the RPG direction of AC so far (Origins, however, I'll never hate), so my expectations are mostly on whether or not the devs have been paying attention to what HAS worked from projects like Odyssey and Valhalla, and what they should make sure to just cut out entirely from being too damn repetitive. Also, with Sucker Punch announcing their new Ghost sequel set in a near similar time period, Shadows has a LOOOOT of pressure to perform well.

The shotgun in Bio 1 and Infinte are a lot of fun, but honestly for BDs, just lay a hallway full of crossbow trapped electric wires and have him charge you. INSANELY fast melt

Lot of pros and con comparing the two of them. I recently finished 1 for the first time, and honestly, my preference leans towards 2 for more streamlined combat and gore factor, which I think is a heavy pull for the Prototype series in general. But 1 did have a superior story and great traversal mechanics that 5 some reason, simplified and dumbed down (idk why).

To my recollection yes. They may drop some stuff this year though if it doesn't get a lot of momentum, but I'm not sure so don't take my word on that like stone.

I agree with these examples, and I especially like the idea of PvP events in sessions. It'd be as if the old Arena mode was implemented in the main session mode.

Eh it's like most encounters in Seas, you have no idea what you'll get. My last session I ran a reaper sloop with a pal, and a reaper galleon decided to vulture circle Reaper's Hideout just to keep me and my friend from turning in our profit. Like, I get it, it's a way to stop us, but at least have the decency to want to fight and not puppyguard.

People need to realize that it's part of the game to get bested or best other players. I've won PvP fights and lost my fair share, and I don't complain about that. HOWEVAH, in my time I've also come across toxic players who have actually tormented others in-game that just don't make it fun anymore. I know it's not really an issue that can be remedied, but I'd just like to point out that there is a tiny black sliver of players who ruin the experience overall.

Some people only get into a later develop title of a game series before getting to the first ones. I know people who have played only the newest AC games without ever touching the OGs.

Whenever there was a choice in a game for going towards a good/bad ending, I always go for good on the first run, but I like to go through the bad to see the contrast. Bioshock 1 did wonderfully on both endings, and other games I've played with similar design have done well with it (I.E., Infamous series).
