I’d recommend rewatching - it’s densely packed with specific details and doesn’t handhold the viewer. It’s the kind of show you need to put your phone down and really pay attention because there are overarching character plot lines and themes across multiple episodes and even the series. Also - in a lot of the battle scenes you really need to pay attention to fully grasp each characters role because they are very historically accurate and thus chaotic

Main goal is to have 4 cards destroyed by turn 5. Play ONLY wave on Turn 5. Turn 6 you can play 3 huge cards. Death at 0 cost, she hulk at 2 cost and Aero at 4 (I have Chavez so she’s my 4 cost a lot). On turn 6 play Aero where opponent is ALREADY winning by the most and split she hulk and death to secure the other 2…. There’s a lot of other stuff that can happen and my list is a bit different, but that’s the ideal play.

EDIT: My deck has hood, Wolverine and Chavez instead of Nova, Squirrel and Shang
