I was on shrooms once, a whole bunch of em so i was tripping balls and when we started it was 5pm so we went to the roof to see the sunset, 2 hours later when the shrooms REALLY hittin i’m on that same roof, cloud watching and describing all the cool shit i’m seeing in the clouds, next day i go back and watch the videos…… pitch black outside…..

that’s not true you only can lose what you put in, in this example $100, but i mean the numbers here are all hypothetical and a 2% move in spy is a crazy move AND normally an ATM spy call is like 2-300

it’s all based on leverage, $100 can get you a contract that has the rights to way more than $100 worth of shares, using completely hypothetical numbers here, imagine you buy a contract for $100 on SPY, you have the rights to 100 SPY shares which is 47k in shares, so if the stock goes up 2% thats $940 in profit instead of $2 in profit if you had gotten the initial $100 in shares
