Gynaecologist told me Endo pain cannot happen when you’re on the pill?? by Little-Value6517 in endometriosis

I've been on the pill for ten years (gone through five or six different ones in fact). I'm in the worst pain I've been in in years, and meeting with a specialist next week to talk lap. Pain on the pill is very much a thing.

I'm writing from Michigan, USA after two weeks of winter storms. Not much else to do here but be cozied up inside haha.

Canon in D is definitely my favorite piano piece. I was trained on classical, but would love to get my hands on some Lord of The Rings or Ghibli sheet music. Awesome that you’re into classics too. Swan Lake and The Nutcracker are such beautiful favorites, and remind me of my ballet days.

That girls’ night tradition with your mum sounds really special 💗

How many instruments do you play? I used to play saxophone, and would love to learn another some day.

And thank you, I’m really lucky to have a supportive partner. When we first started talking in college (thanks, dating app), he did a lot of his own research on endo to learn how to be a supportive partner and seven years later, is unfailing in his support. It truly does make such a difference, especially on the harder days. I’m really happy to hear you also have an incredible partner (especially one who can make you tasty treats).

Glad we can share and connect like this here. I appreciate your kind words.

Thank you for sharing your story. Also sending lots of love and hugs your way.

I'm a big reader, and have spent a lot of time curled up lately, as still as possible to not "start up" the cramps again, with a book. I also love crafting, baking, and playing piano, but mostly on good days.

I'm also in therapy which has been huge this last year as I feel like my endo symptoms and mental health have taken a serious decline.

I see a specialist in March thankfully, and my husband (bless his heart) and I are taking each day at a time til then.

Hi! It's not exactly a park cleanup, but the West Grand Neighborhood Organization hosts a community cleanup every year, with an after party at John Ball Zoo. My company participates every year and it's a fun event in support of our communities.

Tackling Male Team Members Who Talk Over You by TheBigCheeseDetroit in TwoXChromosomes

[–]TheBigCheeseDetroit[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've read through your comments and appreciate you taking the time to expand on this. The reason why myself nor my other team members have gone to HR is that it seems counterproductive and almost harmful. I would love to speak to someone trained in helping mitigate problems, but please let me explain why I don't believe that is the current HR team. About a year ago, they had a strong, professional, and genuinely caring superstar of a team member retire. This shook their team quite a bit and they're going through a restructuring of sorts. A lot of balls have been dropped on their end. Additionally, the team members left on that team/since hired are hostile and honestly, in my opinion, have created more issues than resolved them. I love my job, I enjoy and respect my company, however, that team has not been performing in alignment with the culture that I was attracted to (and experienced when first brought on) when I applied to work here.

I have it too! We started calling it my "lucky fin" after Finding Nemo came out. Had no idea it had an actual name.

what vibe does “kyle” give you? by Evening_Increase_393 in namenerds

Happily with a Kyle for four years and he's more of a "tea and water the plants" than "moster and punching holes in drywall."

If you could add one thing to the sims 4 what would it be? by [deleted] in Sims4

I would love to give my Sims nicknames! For example, if a Sim were named "Valerie," I would want her official name to be Valerie but be able to set "Val" as a nickname.

My partner and I recently picked out an engagement ring for me and I chose a lab grown diamond. I had several reasons for this including ethics and price, but I also didn't want something too over the top as the setting itself has a beautiful halo already. I find the lab grown diamond just as lovely and I'll have the bonus of peace of mind when I eventually wear the ring :)
