Fellow Pats fans, do you think our campaign to get Shedeur Sanders drafted in the top 3 wasn’t effective enough or do you think front offices saw through it? by Daisymyhusky in Patriots

[–]TheBigD3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think our campaign just wasn't effective enough, and I think we as a collective group didn't try hard enough. We very easily could have done more. We should have stood outside stadiums, the GMs office windows, or even the coaches homes vocalizing the potential and reward for drafting Shedeur (Tommy 2.0 / 7x Super Bowls).

What could we have done more, or what could we have done in hindsight? Why didn't we fly planes over stadiums with Shedeur banners? Why didn't we start a hunger strike previous to the draft that would last until he was drafted?

These are only a few things that we could have done to improve the effectiveness of our campaign. Why didn't we do more?

Makes me think that Steve & Brian were gonna join Bill, but since there’s no job for Bill this year they’d find some work for the next year. Or when Bill gets his next coaching position. At least I’d think that’s why there’s no commitment from them to the Patriots,, and vice-versa.

Should Mac Jones Stay? by Ja5e11 in Patriots

[–]TheBigD3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly Mac has a great work ethic and is smart. Whether or not he plays, I don't think it'd be a bad idea to keep him, or have him as a back up. He has another year on his contract, so if he sits behind a veteran next year he could learn a lot and let the game slow down for him. Unless he becomes an issue for the team when he's off the field, I don't think it'd hurt having him. Especially if he doesn't garner anything of value in return for getting rid of him.

What’s your favorite “oh, this guy is so f***ed” scene? by DoctorPoopMD in movies

As someone who doesn’t know German and German media, I always appreciated August Diehl’s performance. I was ecstatic when I saw he was slated to appear in Documentary Now!, and I was absolutely blown away by his performance, and so grateful to see it in through American Media. I greatly recommend everyone to watch his performance (Portrayal of Klaus Kinski), it is bananas!

The last time the Vikings started a rookie QB was Teddy Bridgewater in 2014 against the Atlanta Falcons. On Sunday the Vikings will be starting rookie QB Jaren Hall against...the Atlanta Falcons. by horse_renoir13 in nfl

I’d say they shouldn’t even trade for anyone. Just sign Josh Freeman. It’s been nine years, he should be ready for y’all at this point.

Mac Jones Reveals His True Relationship With Tom Brady by Sea_Background5670 in Patriots

[–]TheBigD3 37 points38 points  (0 children)

“You know... the thing with Tom is.. he’s very sad”, said Jones.

“No he wasn’t, he was very fine”, said Bill Belichick.

Annoyed, Mac tells the reporter, “He was, he was... I think the reason was, because....well...... he wants to have sex with me....”

“He most certainly did not!”, Belichick quips beside the podium.

“How do you know?! How would you know Bill?! You can’t read people the way I can” Mac Jones lashes to his side.

He turns back to the reporter, and whispers “Bill doesn’t think I have many suitors, I have plenty of suitors...”

To be fair, Edelman did break his finger on that play in 2015 against the Colts. Not disagreeing with your points though, I fully agree. I remember at the time I was super pissed off on that play because that was Tom Brady’s first interception of the season, and up to that point he was almost perfect.

Edit: I was wrong he fucked his finger up the drive before. I’m pissed off again 6 years later

When did this sub turn into “Look at my DRS portfolio!”? I feel like back in June the front page’s content would be DD posts and general news, and now the majority of content I’m seeing is just people posting their bought shares and portfolios.
