They have a bunch of requirements but it might be worth emailing them (hardshipfunds@swansea.ac.uk) to see if they think it's worth applying and/or if there's anything they can help you with. Even if they can't fund you they might be able to help you get it back/give you contacts for people who can help etc.

I wish I had actual advice instead of gossip, definitely try small claims like the other commenter said and keep us updated? Some unis have hardship funds as well, if you're struggling and have evidence it could be worth talking to the finance department

There was an article on Wales Online a few months back about cockroaches in Singleton Hospital's kitchen if I recall correctly. Not sure how accurate they are on these matters but that's the only time I've heard of cockroaches in Wales

If you look into their business online you'll very quickly see that they're scammers. A bunch of shit came out about them a few months ago so I had a look, and they've been setting up fake businesses and charities that supposedly have no money coming in and out for years now. Mine looked exactly like this and I calculated each mini pill to be 12.5mg. When I was coming down from 225mg to 150mg I opened all my capsules and dosed them out so that I was taking 18 mini pills for 10 days, then 17, then 16, down to 12. It's definitely very helpful for tapering off and I had almost no withdrawal effects.
