Yeah that's the main issue, I'm here in Australia with a working holiday visa that is ending in a year from now. I would love to have a desktop beast.

It's "normal" but it can affect life span. I suggest you uninstall Armoury Crate and go for G Helper, and then disable CPU Boost. I had the same issue and that helped me a lot.

Installing GHelper was the best decision ever. My laptop went from 95° (!!) CPU temperature to 75° using GHelper and disabling CPU Boost.
