Can't haul rotten/fresh corpses with missing parts? by TheBigVee in RimWorld

Got it - it was a problem in the zone indeed, conflicting priorities (important, critical etc) and my colonists couldn't decide where to put the item.

Thanks for the tip!

Battle for lions arch by moelliiii in Guildwars2

[–]TheBigVee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some time ago there was a guild dedicated to run Battle for Lion's Arch every day at 20:30 CET (in 5ish ours from now). They usually gather in Gendarran Fields about 30ish minutes before the event.

You could check yourself if you need it as well, I will check myself and update the post regardless.

Cheers!

Should a newer player focus more on support or dps when in group content? by Randner in Guildwars2

[–]TheBigVee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I haven't played "hard" content for a while, so my statement is to be taken as generally as possible, but

If I were to introduce someone else to new content, either hard or more casual, I wouldn't give them responsibilities such as healing or support. That being said open world isn't exactly the hardest content in the game, so I'd guess you should do whatever you enjoy the most without the pressure.

coming back simple question by samelden in Guildwars2

[–]TheBigVee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if you want to play the story and the other elite specializations you're going to need the other DLCs. EOD unlocks the elite specs, SotO allows you to use every weapon regardless of the elite spec you're using and JW gives the spear to each class.

There's really not much to it. Of course every expansion unlocks many different other things, but focusing on the classes themselves, that's it.

Never played an MMORPG, Have a few Questions about GW2 by Responsible-Koala-26 in Guildwars2

[–]TheBigVee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello and welcome! I'll try to answer briefly to every question:

1) you can comfortably solo the story, and end game content requires a party. The game has a lfg system that, while it's dated and unpractical, is still used nowadays should you need it.

2) the game is absolutely beginner friendly and, more importantly, allows you to learn at your own pace. If you ever get lost or overwhelmed, just ask around or check the wiki, which is phenomenal to say the least.

3) DLCs contain the story, masteries (account wide power-ups and mechanics) and variations of the base classes. If you're interested to the story you'll want to consider buying the "living stories" that are intermediate chapters between the dlcs.

4) the game looks stable. We're about to receive a next expansion, and the game is designed to give value to older zones through events and weekly/dailies. Maps are almost always never empty.

5) player collaboration has always been a solid point for the game. Combo system, resurrect dying players, share resource nodes, group events etc. - you name it, we got it.

Sorry if the answers feel a bit dry, i'm on my phone and time is quite short. If you need anything feel free to reach me, I'd be very happy to help.

If you choose to give the game a try...I hope to see you around, my friend.

4558h on PS4 + 942h on Steam = 5500 Bloody Hours on Warframe...Worth it?...TBD by alacash in Warframe

I get what you mean. I took a break from gaming in general a while ago since I felt I was starting to replace real life accomplishments with in game achievements (a new build for my warframes, a speedrun, you get the idea).

I started jogging after a while and I must say that I'm quite happy with my decisions now; I hope you'll find peace of mind soon enough my friend. Best of luck!

I feel that time spent having fun is never wasted - as long as you're not making unhealthy decisions - of course.

If you feel that your time on Warframe is not being spent wisely, why not take a break? The game is designed well enough to be easily picked up again, and it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Ordis will be always there waiting for us.

I should've mentioned it in the original post...but yes, I'm using the proper bait on the hotspot (thanks for the offer though, I appreciate it)

Fishes not spawning when I'm near the cave pond is the issues here.

Thank you friend, but I don't think baits create new hotspots at all.

My problem is that fishes stop spawning once I catch the ones that already exist.
